  • Thumbs up if you sang along to every song during the documentary and was disappointed when the short song byte finished.

  • morrissey @ 0:53 lol.

  • little did Morrissey know, that an abomination called Lady Gaga would follow Madonna...

  • wow was supprised they showed that cow being slaughtered...

  • THE SMITHS WERE 4 men: Marr, Mozz, Rourke and Joyce!!!!

They were not a duo or a solo guy....

  • sob.its all over...

  • pop music wont end, the heart and originality of pop music is very much dead, but as long as theres morons out there buying crap its corpse will live on

  • @666rocko well the ammount of people buying pop has drastically decreased over the years, and continues to

  • Video isnt synced.

  • ya think?

  • Thank you very, very much for posting, super incite into one of the most important bands of the last twenty odd years

  • I love Morrissey's voice. Ah, 'tis smooth and soft as Velveeta... I mean velvet.

  • oh yes he is

  • Meat Is Murder is a classic track- but I still like me steak n chips--sorry Mozz

Cya 4th July in the Park!

Hot Dogs and Burgers not compulsary but tasty- yum yum...

  • That's quite sad. It's quite bizaar that people in this day and age are okay with murdering and taking a life that wont ever be here again for a taste and texture. You're lesser than me, and you're not a very good person.

  • go fuck youself - you piece of patronising shite- anyway what's a bizaar?

  • I think it's the french version of the word bizarre. lol, I didn't say anything morrissey wouldn't have.

  • morrissey is wrong at the end

  • im sorry but i fink the lyrics to meat is murder is shit. nothing like his normal subtlety or cleverness

  • I think you're only saying that because you disagree.

  • ok that makes no sense. i was sayin that it sounded like as i quote from the man himself "chestbeating", and its not as subtle or clever as his other work, meaning it's handed to you (snik snik) on a plate. It lcks poignancy

  • It looks hilarious when hes point and the sound is out of sync

  • Ah Morrisseys predictions. The music industry, no matter how dire its quality, is very much alive at the moment. Just like music videos. Ha.

  • Well, yes, it's somehow still kicking...

  • The music industry is dying in the face of the internet. Everyone says it's going to die off completely soon.

  • Audio is out of sync.

  • Oh god morrissey looks so adorable in that t-shirt later on in the video.

  • Are we gonna get into another one of those 'who's most important?' arguments? They all were crucial pieces to the puzzle and without each other it wouldn't have been the same. They all worked perectly together like a finely tuned machine.

  • shut your mouth,,,youy don´t now anything about music...you fool!...without morrissey.-the smiths wouldn´t have been the same...and he gave the name to the group..so...it may have been called...the plants...idiot...read more about the band...and stop throwing shit..,people don´t buy...

  • big bloody bullshit!

mozza's talent is one in a mill if it was dat easy y hasnt ne1 else cum close 2 writing lyrics like that --yet hez incredibly relatable 4 many

they did not MAKE the smiths entirely.. the smiths were incredible musically buh the lyrics is what will set them apart from ne1 n whatt makes them legends beyond musical boundaries

  • big fat bullshit they could have as successful if they managed to find some1 like moz - one in a mill chance

they did NOT make the smiths - the smiths are about great music buh the lyrics iswhat sets them waaaaaaaaaaaay apart from ne1

  • big bloody bullshit!

  • wow you're stupid, I mean Mike and Andy and of course Marr are talanted...Hell Johnny is one of the best musicians in the world but without Mozzer they wouldnt have happened.

  • actually, he came later on..

Marr and Rourke were long time friends, Joyce was the last one to join The Smiths.

Morrissey brought his own musical influences and wrote some of the best lyrics up to date, establishing the smiths as one of the greatest pop bands in musical history :)

  • thanks for the history lesson Im one of the biggest Smiths fans...I kind of new that already LOL!

  • My point was that The Smiths wouldnt of been anything special without the Morrissey Im sorry it true! Johnny is a great guitar player but Its a fifty/fifty you need Marrs guitar work and Mozzer;s lyrics otherwise it doesnt work.

  • ah im with you but i'm sorry, your comment sent off the wrong message, let's not leave out the rhythm, without Rourke's awesome bass line and Joyces amazing thumps you can only imagine what could have been. bottom line is they formed the best 4 piece in history. sorry Beatles fans! :) my opinion of course.

  • Now we're in agreement : ) BEST 4 PIECE IN HISTORY!

  • u sound like u know what ur on about.why did they split???they seem to hate eachother now??

  • I think the smiths would have been successful without morrissey but they wouldnt have been that successful... but i see your point, they wouldnt be nearly as good

  • Its funny people have been at my throat for saying this but It bares repeating I think Morrissey is the greatest frontman of his generation and possibly the best frontman of all time.

  • paulbuss: two words. freddie. mercury

  • Hell I LOVVVVEEE Queen, but lyricaly Morrissey is God. I think his lyrics are the most pure and honest/humerous/darkest/wittiest prose around lol but Freddie is cool too I happen to really like Brian May's guitar work as well but I relate to about 90% of what Mozzer sings about.

  • @paulbuss totally agree!

  • idiot,morrisey is the smiths.

  • nahhh

the smiths were morrissey and marr

like so many song writing partnerships theyre never quite as good when theyre not together..

    lennon & mccartney

    coxon & albarn

    barat & doherty

    the list goes on

  • @robgeorge87 Morrissey and Marr are two stellar musicians, artists, whatever you want to call them, but The Smiths were and always will be Morrissey, Marr, Rourke and Joyce, and that's not up for debate.
