I read his 1973 interview and he couldn't remember just how many recordings he did in the 1920s & 30s because they numbered so many!! A great life he lived!!
Wow, I`ve always wanted to hear this recordig of Irving Kaufman in his later years, He Still had it even at 84. He still sounded pretty much the same as he did many years ago. loved it.
This is the info. on the record. The Recording Pioneers Phonograph Record Enterprise, P.O. Box 191, Manhasset, N.Y. 11030 LP100 (I assume that the other record was LP101). The title is "Reminisce With Irving Kaufman". The guy who produced the records is Paul E. Nehrich. It was issued in 1974 and Nehrich looks very young.
I did a google search and Nehrich shows up as a Liberal politician who has run for State office several times (and lost). His phone # is 516-628-1799.

Irving Kaufman married Belle Baker? Good pairing!

Must be a coincidence... Belle Baker (the singer) only lived to 1957, and to my knowledge she never married him

Amazing! I have one of his first records (from 1915) and his voice didn't lose a thing in sixty years! A great swan song! Thanks for posting it.

I regret that I didn't get the other LP as well. This one only has 2 "modern" performances. The other LP had 6.
