do some research? look there are limits to how much i can say about what i do, but trust me I really do know what I stated. not like the fictional that this lady has, I do know exactly what i said. i pick my comment in a very careful manner because i did not wish to say too much. research? mate that is what I do best.
I agree wholeheartedly with 'joshgsan' - namely you should do MUCH more research, and stop listening to the main stream media as it seems obvious that's where you're getting your information! Regarding Chavez's attitude towards Obama... heck, most Americans and much of the world was taken in by his smooth talking... but have now (fortunately) been awakened to all of the lies.
in another note this woman keeps barking about the us trying to control the resources of venezuela, what resources? the oil, is that what they call resources? i mean why care about venezuelas 4degreed oil when the us has an agreement with the Iraq government to secure oil from them in return for protection against terrorism in that country, the UA is always happy to do business with the us, and this douche lady says that the us is worry about the control of south America? not likely.
and where in hell does this lady gets gets her facts, nothing was mention on that, she said 10b dollars! if there was such of expense tax payers and the American media would be all over it, I mean a 10 b dollar operation is not for funding 100 American soldiers it is to support a small army of American troops, for some one to say such number must have some sort of prove that this is indeed the money pour in to that border which of course i don't think is true.
All i have to say is that Hugo Chavez is a complete imbecile, every time he says some incoherent thing he needs to get slap across the face. he was all buddy with Obama at first now he is taking all kinds of stupid crap, does this seem like a good leader? I don't think so, why the fuzz about Colombia re-enforcing their borders? Venezuela has tides with Russia and Iran but for some reason is not OK to seek aid for the US? call me crazy but i think that Colombia is with in his rights to do so.
Communist purges, drug cartel purges, now it's terrorists. Imperialism cannot foment a policy of extermination and pillaging of other nations wealth without such convenient labels. If you want to support such fascist war-mongering, at least speak your cause directly instead of hiding behind such ridiculously asinine rhetoric. Fewer things are more contemptible than a ideologically challanged bully.
3) Colombia is not attacking "So called Leftist revels" Colombia is Attacking the FARC a terrorist group that these days is highly involve in drug trafficking, extortion, assassinations and kidnapping.
4) Colombia defense budget is higher because the country is in war with the FARC (civil war if you want). The type of weapons used by the Colombian Forces are for an Internal conflict as opposed as the type of weapons Chavez bought which can easily been used from Caracas to a target in Colombia.
I don't know where Eva Golinder is getting her facts but most of her comments are not accurate:
1) Drug production in Colombia has NOT INCREASED, is far from over but is no where close to what it was 10 years ago with the cartel de Medellin and Cali.
2) Colombia has not had ANY military incidents with Venezuela, the only "INCIDENT" in the border was the operation in Ecuador. In that operation AKA Raul Reyes (FARC 2nd in Command) was eliminated a terroris camp was destroyed.
Latin America are divided in two blocks now.. the friends of US and the not friends.. and I think now there are more countries with the message of a Latin America United without USA on their plan of friend alliances.. and I think today is the date where Latin America is growing as a new block. and that is a bad new to USA and its "New World Order" lol
This was made in 2009 and now it is 2011 and still no invasion. So I guess Chevez will have to find another strawman to scare people.

Why isn't anybody talking about Russian involvement in this conflict (Russian military hardware sold to Venezuela?)
Typical communist propaganda.

How easy it is to pass for intelligent. The greatest escalation of war rhetoric and military expenditure in Latin America is coming from Chavez.
