We are not saying this is the only way to flash a chimney. I do know there are thousands of roofers using the same method to flash their chimneys as we do. I am shure the same could be said for your method of flashing. What we are trying to do is get the word out to the roofers that use our method of chimney flashing and let them know there is a new Chimney Flashing Brake that could save them time and money.
That counterflashing and step flashing is to small according to the current standards.
