  • Mike Amor did nothing. Simply lifted the girl into his arms and turned to the cameras. They even state that Deiby Celestino is part of Seven's security team when in fact he was the Fixer/Interpreter for channel Nine.

Deiby and Richard Moran were the ones that dug to get her out, yet Seven cut Moran out of the footage.

  • here baby here baby, omg how sweet, finally you see also journalists helping!

  • i know this baby her name wisnie. when i was living in haiti my house was 2 minutes from her house. they are 30 people died on this building only this baby and her uncle survived on this tragedy R.I.P to . Rita, Mr wilner her father, mrs wilner, naomie, junior, gregory blan manan, majorie, alexandra, nathalie, fabie. ++++.... R.I.P

  • How touching; shows the perseverence and caring, the love, we each have within. Nice to see it when it shines, like this moment.

  • chile is full of rioting and looting. they're burning down buildings. people are being put in prison for stealing diapers and water.

yet, our white supremacist news network government isn't interested at all and neither are the video posting little terroist sheep.

  • I joined!!

  • they rescued an engel !!!!

  • Poor little baby, alone for 3 days...it's heart breaking...

  • لاحول ولاقوة الا بالله العلي العظيم , ربي الطف فينا انك لرحيم كريم.

Please, say to him she is not Winnie. She can say is name, tahanks God. Whait a litle time. She knows very well too his mama´s and papa's names. Ask her, when she is good. Now, she is very frigten and there are people that wants her to sell. I know because I help is mother to feed her, since he was born.

  • @1948Motta

Mike Amor here. Thanks for all your responses. Just returned from Haiti. We followed up little WInnie and she was being cared for by her extended family: aunts, uncles and grandmother. Happy to say she looked happy and healthy. She's truly a special little girl who I won't ever forget.

  • I agree the comments are censored, this whole thing is staged, this arrogant reporter is making up a story and not even helping the victim, carrying on for publicity, why the hell does he carry it?? GIVE IT TO SOMEONE THAT CAN PAY 100% ATTENTION NOT SOMEONE WHOS REPORTING AT THE SAME TIME!!! Why are all these fat females so emotional about this bullshit of a story, they never found her dad, that guy was just a fill in who claimed her

  • Mr. Amor (who give you such a beautiful name? :-) ):

If you please, give me news about those girl.

I live in Portugal and I would live take care Winnie, if it is possible. But I d'ont want publiciti about.

I wait you to say something to me.

    my fone 351963890266. :-)

  • A MIRICAL BABY

  • An example of that hope is never lost!. Great Winnie.....!

  • Oh thats a miracle! God bless you Winnie!

  • amazing

  • Thankfully he was a human being first and a reported second

I am glad that he was a different stuff than that guy who took those famous pictures of a dieing african kid surrounded by vultures, and didn't lift a finger to save him because he was too busy working his pulitzer

  • that's not exactly how that vulture story went... and anyway that photog killed himself not long after.

    This stuff is never pleasant.

  • it makes yuu want to go over there an help

  • Amazing.

  • Winnie Rules!

  • Incredible... one small glimmer of hope. Brilliant. It's little things like this that can help everyone cope and hope for the future. Good luck little baby, and good luck Haiti.

  • To the moron who posted "Who would name a child "Winnie"" FIRST-off Winnie is a VERY popular name in many parts of the world, especially in that part of the world and Africa, AND WHO CARES? WTF does her name have to do with this amazing story? Moron...these people probably don't even know about winnie the pooh and 16 mos. is a baby...you're a jerk...take-care and god-bless....

  • I have a name so address me by it, comment on point 3. not 4. ..It was satire, not serious! If you don't question why the black guy all of a sudden says 'Im his uncle' to get financial help and them making up "winnie", a name for her to bring the channels reputation and the report to western media, then somethings wrong with you, also when you say god-bless after calling me a jerk, I know you use arrogance in your life so I don't expect you to think.

  • Spot on mate. Good to know some people don't get sucked in by these parasitic journalists and their facade of giving a rats. Really makes me ill watching this Noob clutching the little girl for several minutes constantly facing the camera. THE REAL HEROES DONT PROMOTE THEMSELVES THEY JUST HELP ANONYMOUSLY. This Amor bloke should try out for Bold & The Beautiful. What a tosser.

  • 1. Its not a baby, its a toddler

    2. The Child is not Winnie that guy had to make up a name on the spot.

    3. The Interviewer seems concieded to get media attention over a dieing child, he had to pose with it infront of a camera which seems quite disturbing ''saying'' *get medical attention* when Obviously he never found any before hand and cared only for his news story. and

    4. Who would name a child Winnie, apart from that 'not the dad' guy... Kids would tease her and call her Winnie the Poo.

  • shutup idiot.

  • wow, ur one smart motherfvcker!

    winnie rules!

  • sure he was there for the media attention but he was helping no matter how little the help and not behind a computer like you

  • @tommyaceshow

    1.Yes, she's a baby.

    2. Yes, Winnie is her real name.

    3. The only thing that should matter is that she was saved from the rubble and is now alive.

    4. I find Winnie a beautiful name. I will bet the parents who named her that have never heard of Winnie the Pooh, nor will her future classmattes.

  • 1. Shes a Toddler

    2. How do you know its her real name? did you meet her parents in that interview? 1:10 her name is said to be Saszu..

    3. The only thing that matters is that MANY people are saved and not just saved for media stories. Its typical you focus on one girl and not the rest, thousands have died, you focus on one ?

    4. So do I, theres satire in making winnie by a western news station, you believe what the media says but not those people? You are the reason these people are poor, THINK!

  • tommyaceshow, do you understand what was being said? The uncle had his own baby trapped under the rubble. He thought that was HIS baby crying whose name is, well was, Zazou. Instead, Winnie was found. I don't want to argue w/ anyone and you for sure don't know SQUAT about I've been focusing on. I was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, so this was HOME, not some poor place in the news. I ended up on this video because I was curious if there was any afterstory on this girl.

  • @tommyaceshow they wouldn't of heard of winnie the poo in haiti u dipshit, fuck your ignorant

  • As in the Olympics:

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Ooh! Ooh Ooh!!!!!!

  • Winnie Mandela was Winnie...married to Nelson

  • Amazing rescue, God save the children of Haiti!!!

  • what a miracle!

    that reporter is amazing

  • parabens enquanto ha esperança ha vida

  • congratulationsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • Just so the world knows, epicness is a 14 year old retard from Australia. Check out his channel for a good indication of his intelligence level.

  • Don't you ever think that these things you believe in, this evil corrupt society, maybe it is you who is not using their brain and following blindly into oblivion and hysteria.

  • miracle............

  • Wow, that had me in tears! My little one is asleep next to me. My heart goes out to the victims and families of the quake.

  • daaayum!! shit is craaazzzzzyyy!!!

  • Hey you must be right!! and probably that girl is hired too!! haha..hey listen you leave us ''dumb'' people alone and let my Tivo and my re runs of Sienfield alone and I let you go back to read your Caveman's Times and teach all these wonderful principles to your children..

  • So sad. God bless the poor baby.

  • TIVO, haha...go join Pat Robertson, I suppose you do have a real source for good information ah, what do you read the national inquirer?? , The onion??

I've been there to Haiti personally, have you?? do you know anything personally?

  • @warforoil Yes! All the donations are going to the Elite bank account including Wyclef Jean who is himself is Haitian and he's defrauding his own people!

  • God bless her heart, it is tragic, people remeber to donate money to Haiti, anything please, after looking at this I donated to the UNESCO who helps kids from this Haiti's tragedy separated from their families etcetera...

  • GOD BLESS HER!

    she is beautiful!!!

Makes me want to adopt a Hatian baby... I would if I could ... if I wasn't in debt from college lol

God Bless Haiti ...help them endure this tragic loss

  • Iv had tears in my eyes.......God helps us to help this people..whom..we the world ahd forgotten and now....we know more about them

  • Remarkable! She's too cute and what a disposition. I wish I could contribute to help her in the future.

  • She's cute!

  • SO SWEET!

  • This is so tragic but so amazing at the same time!

  • Pomoc jest niezbędna ,jak napisała Takasee, popieram

  • Why did the uncle was so slow to remember the name of the girl? well i hope nobody try to do ilegal things among the tragedy, in the other hand what a great video and God help all the Haitian people, a hug from Mexico

  • i know !!! like he invented it on the spot

  • Yeah he's suspect. I hope they keep track of Winnie.

  • well maybe he had a hard time understanding english because he kept saying his own name or maybe he was translating her name in to english or maybe he was in shock geez. I mean the young men who was with them was clearly related to her and she felt comfortable and even kissed him like she recognized him geez. He uncle was in shock. He probably just speaks french and not a lot of English.

  • @ruben11117

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I had two uncles who could never remember my name...lol

  • Straszna tragedia!!!!

  • Great video! Brings tears to my eyes.

  • nice to see reporters that actually do something instead of stand by.

  • Thats hectic grats to the family on finding her hectic for the dad of sasun
