The Whale didn't "become" a mammal in the Ocean. It was a land living mammal before it went into the water and evolved a body form suitable for a new aquatic existence.... and the transitionary bones from Pakistan prove it happened, just as had been suspected.
Note: What makes an animal a mammal is bearing live young that are suckled at the breast, same as us.... (same as dogs, cats, pigs, cows etc. etc. etc)

Aw, it looks like they cut out the cool part. They hardly touched on the details of these transitional species, such as the observed inner ear transformation from land to aquatic life, the gradual evolution of the nostril to blow hole, or the shrinking of the hind legs into the vestigial stumps they are today. :(

whatever, your calibrations are based of the "theory" that dinosaurs lived in a specific era. it's not really science when one theory is backed or proofed against another theory. too many uncertainties in science now-days are considered truths.

try it out. they will NOT date anything and be wrong, therefor, their figure must match within the era you suggest the item came from. have you ever looked at an "natural bound exponential decay" curve? check it out. the reading they get from something 1 million years old and 100 million years old is essentially the same. the error they get in the instruments is larger than the difference from one era to the next.
what a load of lies. carbon dating are use on things with carbon in it... and the test will have to be double blind test, cross check with independent laps. IF there is contamination and were used in the dating it will quickly became clear when the laps compare the results. kent (a self proclaim "scientist") used carbon dating on fossils..... you should just disregard what he have to say about ANYTHING if you knew anything about carbon dating lol

carbon dating or any other radio-decay guaging can not be accurate. temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, ground pressure, ground density, radio-reflective co-efficient of the surrounding rock/dirt all effect it your readings. and most of all, how many times and for how long was the fossil uncovered? often it's uncovered and covered back up many times or water washing things away and mud recovering it when rock previously covered it. all this skews carbon dating more than you can imagine!

how can they know that the "whale" (that looks like an ardvark) went from land to water to land, to water again? they can't even consistantly carbon date anything. try carbon dating a 100 year old fossilised bone at your local university. they can't do it unless you tell them what animal, and what era it is "supposed" to be from. the error margins in carbon dating are so small that you could carbon date a 500 year old fossil and get results back that saying it's 30 million years old.
That makes no sense. Your University shouldnt be asking those things to date anything.
Different dating methods are more effective for certain time periods. Maybe thats why they are asking you those details? So they save time if you already have an idea of what the results may look like?

Aw, it looks like they cut out the cool part. They hardly touched on the details of these transitional species, such as the observed inner ear transformation from land to aquatic life, the gradual evolution of the nostril to blow hole, or the shrinking of the hind legs into the vestigial stumps they are today. :(

whatever, your calibrations are based of the "theory" that dinosaurs lived in a specific era. it's not really science when one theory is backed or proofed against another theory. too many uncertainties in science now-days are considered truths.

try it out. they will NOT date anything and be wrong, therefor, their figure must match within the era you suggest the item came from. have you ever looked at an "natural bound exponential decay" curve? check it out. the reading they get from something 1 million years old and 100 million years old is essentially the same. the error they get in the instruments is larger than the difference from one era to the next.

Carbon dating is NOT used to date fossils, there is no carbon in it!
Decay rates are constant, we have never observed them to change, not in a way that would affect the accuracy of dating methods.
Isochron dating eliminates the need of initial conditions and it can detect contaminated samples.
Plus radio-active dating methods are confirmed by non-radioactive dating methods.
Scientists know the limits of dating methods and know how to use them.

what a load of lies. carbon dating are use on things with carbon in it... and the test will have to be double blind test, cross check with independent laps. IF there is contamination and were used in the dating it will quickly became clear when the laps compare the results. kent (a self proclaim "scientist") used carbon dating on fossils..... you should just disregard what he have to say about ANYTHING if you knew anything about carbon dating lol

carbon dating or any other radio-decay guaging can not be accurate. temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, ground pressure, ground density, radio-reflective co-efficient of the surrounding rock/dirt all effect it your readings. and most of all, how many times and for how long was the fossil uncovered? often it's uncovered and covered back up many times or water washing things away and mud recovering it when rock previously covered it. all this skews carbon dating more than you can imagine!

how can they know that the "whale" (that looks like an ardvark) went from land to water to land, to water again? they can't even consistantly carbon date anything. try carbon dating a 100 year old fossilised bone at your local university. they can't do it unless you tell them what animal, and what era it is "supposed" to be from. the error margins in carbon dating are so small that you could carbon date a 500 year old fossil and get results back that saying it's 30 million years old.

Different dating methods are more effective for certain time periods. Maybe thats why they are asking you those details? So they save time if you already have an idea of what the results may look like?

no retard. they ask for the location because if it was near active volcano or arctic waters it can screw with the carbon. second of all a 30 million year old fossil can't be carbon dated... BECAUSE THERE IS NO FUCKING CARBON IN IT. stop making up facts, that bs was made up by kent and you swallowed it. sad, both of you have no idea how science works. what a load of fail, all creationist do is repeat the lies again and again and hope people buy it.
