  • i love hizaki and his makeup. I think its great that the lolita and visual kei looks are starting to catch on here in america. It is a little hard to get that asian look but its worth it. Thank you for the tutorial it was very helpful to me and my fellow lolita friends. We wish we could have seen it when Dir en Grey was in town. We would have loved to do this look then.

  • You happen to be relatively sexy, thanks for the video recording. it's pathetic im living in Cairo because i can not purchase good makeup, on the other hand i get complimentary cosmetic samples through "GratismakeupSamples". i adore Estee Lauder makeup!

  • I'm being gothic Lolita for Halloween so this really helped me :)

  • Wow, you are really pretty!! I'm going to be a gothic lolita doll for halloween, and this will help a ton!

  • @awesomeclair that sounds so cool! I cant wait for halloween, its become a pretty big thing here in Japan too.

  • I envy your soo pretty! I'm gonna go try this look but you have a beautiful complexin...I don't know if i spelled that right but you know what i mean ^_^

  • great tutorial & it was even more amazing to watch it while listening to Versailles haha

I will try this tomorrow! thank you!

  • love the make up..thanks

  • I love what you are wearing. Where did you get the hat?

  • That is a VERY nice tutorial! thanks!

  • Omg. You pull your eyes too! I thought I was the only one! When ever i do my eye liner I pill my corner towards my ears so I can make an even straight line. That is amazing! :D I don't feel so alone in the world!

  • @KaylaKrusifix lol I do that too XD but I've heard it's very bad for your eyes so I have to keep myself from pulling too hard

  • oh this tutorial is very helpful :) its unlike the other tutorials where therye doing in in fast forward with an cafe in the background :)

  • You're so beautiful, you have an angel's face. Thanks for these awesome tutorials.

  • You`re welcome and thank you for the awesome compliment =D

  • @CelestialShadow19 YOU'RE welcome! LOL! I look forward to more vids, I subscribed to ya! <3

  • Wow that looks so pretty, i wish i could apply it as well but i am not a pro by no means but must try it!!!

  • very beautiful gown! Did you sew it yourself? OO

  • Yes I did =)

  • HI, great tutorial ;)could you tell me what color of foundation did you use?

  • Sure can, I use the color `ivory` its the second to palest shade that that particular foundation brand sells.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • The name of the song is `Prince` by Versailles Philharmonic Quintet =)

  • awesome tutorial, i've been wanting to learn this look XD

oh, and for the lid, another thing that may work better for the lid may be cream colour base in black from mac instead of using the pencil

  • yeah i agree cream color looks great too, at the time i did this tutorial I had none so i settled for the pencil but lately Ive been using the cream more often because its water proof =P

  • Looooove it!!! :D

  • I wanna live were you live I wanna be in TOKYO!

  • you live in Tokyo??? sweeeeet. do you know Japanese?

  • I`m so sorry it took me so long to reply to this. I know alittle Japanese, I can speak enough to get around but im far from fluent lol.

  • Cool tutorial. Your coordinate struck me as more of an EGA and Steampunk mix rather than lolita, but it was very lovely nonetheless.

  • Great tutorial! Helped alot...is there anyway you could do a tutorial for Road Kamelot's (D. Gray Man) makeup?? I'm cosplaying her and can't figure out her makeup! LOL Help?

  • I`ve never watched D gray man but I am really fascinated by the character designs, love those black and white costumes they wear! I`ll look into it and give it a try for you =)

  • Thanks! I appreciate it!

  • It's really inspiring to see other girls who aren't in Japan going Lolita! And the makeup was great! And awesome choice for inspiration!

  • actually as of sept 29th I know live in Tokyo lol. But i`m still 100% american! I`m really suprised by attitude here towards girls who like gothic lolita, while they don`t discriminate against those type of girls the overall opinion here is that only ugly girls do lolita......They certainly don`t seem ugly to me!

  • The reason it's looked down upon in Japan is well is because one, it's considered weird, and two, it's still seen as a sexual thing by most people. :/ Anyone is going to have that misunderstanding- it doesn't matter where they're from or where the fashion was made. Hell, Lolita was just a name before Vladmir got to it. And you're still doing it wrong. Get a petticoat, please. :3 Angelic Pretty has very nice ones. Go to Harajuku's Laforet building. It's kind of by Kiddy Land.

  • Nah i don`t like to buy things that I can make on my own. I have one in the works right now and the reason why my costume looks the way it does is because I designed it that way. I design and sew all of my own costumes and my inspiration for this was a cross between steampunk and lolita.

  • Also, as to your tags, lolita is not cosplay. And your outfit looks more like a Ciel cosplay- or maybe it's just cosplay quality. Well, nor is lolita visual kei, but that's better put up in the tags than cosplay. It's still a Japanese fashion style that isn't widely liked by the Japanese population. And I have met a lot of people in Japan who had visual kei style makeup with lolita. Lolita is supposed to be about looking young. Less makeup = better.

  • I put up the cosplay tag becuase alot of cosplayers use these makeup tutorials for help. I`ll keep my tags the way they are thanks.

  • I know. Everyone seems to think that, maybe because those are the only ones they notice?

  • that`s probably true and a lot of the lolitas I`ve run into here are foreigners oddly enough.

  • Really I never would have guessed that!

  • Oh btw, awesome you live in Tokyo! Lolita must be of much eaiser acsess.

  • I love it!!! *¬*

  • She looks lovely when she's all done..lol though i had to laugh when she kept loosing the brushes n stuff....I do it all the time!

  • That's awesome you are so comfortable with the camera. Coolio girly.. Iisa Yath

  • You need a petticoat in a baaad way.

  • Oh, indeed.

  • Really nice. My make up (for daily use) looks like the simple version of what you showed. Nice to see how I can make it more fancy ^^. You have any nice idea's for big eye liner things for gothic fesitvals?

  • hmmm are you talking about the actual cosmetics or style? Style wise for really gothic looks I would take a look at the j rock band Phantasmagoria (if u do an image search through google you'd see what i mean) or maybe moi dix mois (if you're into that)

  • I need some help, this week I have prom and I'm wearing a kimono which no one is doing. Do you have any idea what I should do with my hair/make up? I 'm half japanese so i can get away with it. I'm really in to gothic lolita or something like memoirs of a geisha.

    <3

  • hello there, god i hope i've written this before you're prom =(

Well since you are going in a kimono i wouldn't wear too much makeup unless you really are going for the geisha look and want to look white as paper =P

I have another video tutorial which shows a down played version of gothic lolita which would probably work well with your kimono. If you have not seen it already let me get the link for you.

  • This really helped me :D Thankyou.

I love your hair color, and your super nice :]

    Thankyou.

  • This is really useful to me ^_^ thanks alot for putting this up.

Oh and that blue dress is beautiful.

  • Thank you! That's really cool that you like Labyrinth too and Malice Mizer! I plan to do a Mana sama makeup tutorial in the future =)

  • Oh that sounds so cool ^_^ i can't wait to see that on here. Mana-sama is really an insperation to most of my styles for some of my character dress designs (i'm a kind of comic/story artist)

  • Yay! You have the Hizaki Version of Prince & Princess! ^^ I do too ^-^

You do your foundation & powder alot like I do...

Very good job, thanks for the tutorial!!!

  • Thank you so much for watching =) And Yayyyyy I found another Versailles lover!!!!!
