And all this talk about counseling and having hope is such a load of shit. Do they not understand the word "terminal?" How dense can they be? These patients don't want your soothing words or your fucking hopeful lectures. They want peace on their own terms & their own watch.

My dad's mom passed of liver cancer and my mom's mom passed of alzheimer's. I know what it's like to watch someone shrink and waste away and beg for release instead of having to lose all dignity. So fuck these protesters.

Every last one of these ignorant and insensitive protesters have NO RIGHT to tell someone suffering with any fatal illness that they should endure the duration of the disease. They aren't the ones going through the pain and misery and the fear of not knowing if you'll survive another day.

How dare they try to stop the decision of when a terminally ill patient decides to end their suffering.

I cannot understand why anyone would oppose this new law? We don't force animals to suffer in death, so why should humans have to suffer in death?

I am very thankful I live in Washington State, and I am very proud of my state that the majority of people have chose compassion for humans who are dying.
