I seem to be the only one who found tge book utterly boring. None of the relationships, affairs, or any conflicts for that matter interested me. Especially levin. I literally fell asleep a few times reading his story line
@yurkler I found Levin the most interesting! I think I identified with him. The book was much more pleasant to read than a predictable Dickens, or other Victorian era book.
@yurkler it all depeds on how you feel. when i'm depressed i like to read books about relationships, dramas and this like these. well...i didn't read that book but i think i'm gonna try it.
i read anna karenina ...bt smhw i liked levin and kittys story more than anna n vronskys..........i reli like levin........supposedly the character levin ws drawn from leo tolstoy himself.......
@bodhisattva99 omg I had no sympathy for her either, I was ashamed of that feeling especially at the end but like you said she chooses and abandoning his son is a mistake no woman should make especially for a man love..glad you have the same opinion
Reading this as a 16 year old it was a little eh but I found the parts with Anna, Dolly, and Stiva (basically all the parts that didn't involve Levin) interesting. The only bad thing I can say about this book is that the last 40 pages or so are horrifically boring.................God I thought it was going to be the most interesting part of the book but nope. After Part 7 I thought it would be mostly about Anna's actions at the end of Part 7 but he just skipped 2 months ahead........wtf :/
@lafiglia100 definetly read the book...it's really not that hard as you would think, even if it has 800 pages, maybe I shouldn't have told u the number of the pages but I think u already know that it's a big novel
I saw this movie a few hours ago and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Can someone PLEASE contact Warner Bros. & ask them to release the Director's Cut of the film?
Hey! in the movie, was there the part where anna was at the opera? I must have missed it, if so. Was it a deleted scene? Was it in the directors cut? Does anyone know?
i'm reading the book and so far I love it, does anybody know which movie version is better? becuse there are a few and I really want to watch one of them when finish the book. thanks! :)
you ve got that right!! that s why i always prefer book ahead film!! and anna karenina... my god... thats the perfection above all the perfections! it got me opsessed
tHRE ARE SCENES IN THIS TRAILER THAT ARE NOT IN THE dvd THAT I HAVE ! aRE THERE TWO VERSIONS!?! i COULD NOT GET THE DVD HERE IN THE USA . i GOT MY DVD FROM HONG KONG!
