I seem to be the only one who found tge book utterly boring. None of the relationships, affairs, or any conflicts for that matter interested me. Especially levin. I literally fell asleep a few times reading his story line

@yurkler I found Levin the most interesting! I think I identified with him. The book was much more pleasant to read than a predictable Dickens, or other Victorian era book.

@yurkler it all depeds on how you feel. when i'm depressed i like to read books about relationships, dramas and this like these. well...i didn't read that book but i think i'm gonna try it.

When my mother finished Anna Karenina the first time, she immediately flipped back to the first page and read it all over again.

Reading this as a 16 year old it was a little eh but I found the parts with Anna, Dolly, and Stiva (basically all the parts that didn't involve Levin) interesting. The only bad thing I can say about this book is that the last 40 pages or so are horrifically boring.................God I thought it was going to be the most interesting part of the book but nope. After Part 7 I thought it would be mostly about Anna's actions at the end of Part 7 but he just skipped 2 months ahead........wtf :/
