I like the animation of the original superbook but I dislike the intention behind it. Good thing it wasn't successful in getting Japanese people to convert to christianity. I'll leave it at that before some christian nutter accuses me of attempting to "convert" them to atheism.

I was honestly moved by Superbook as a kid. I hate the CGI version. The story is weak. They should commission Noitamina or some other company to do another Anime version.

The first ep that was really released was 'A Giant Adventure.' That's how the rape of the memories began. :-/

@epcasuga I can't say that it will or will not.

But I will say that the new version is nothing in respect of the original anime; they pretty much cashed on the 'Chris, Joy, Gizmo' name and made sure the new trio look and act nothing like the original.

And the story thus far is kinda weak; I know I'm only judging it by one or two episode, but the point I'm trying to say is that CBN is more concerned on making SB looking 'better looking than ever' and not even pay attention the story aspect.

@epcasuga Yeah. I actually have been working on a project that features both revamped versions of Chris, Joy, Gizmo and the Flying House cast. It's gonna be a webcomic that I hope to give it ground soon. I actually wrote and illustrated one comic featuring Chris and Corkey Roberts, but it remains unpublished.

Also, if Superbook were fully rebooted as an anime, I'd be happy to work on that too. Heck, I'd totally design T-shirts for Chris Peeper, Joy and Gizmo if the opportunity was given. :)
