@bgertw5 at the time, pounce was a very powerful bleed when affected by cooldowns/potions/mangle, etc. it wasn't much dps but it was the 200-300 dps you needed to parse.

If thats your actual playing speed then you could disable scrolling battle text and recount. Would inprove your fps by alot. Also you should really configure bad kittie and fbn as they show exactly the same things, no need for two addons to do exactly same things :)

Nice job! I have a 80 druid, Tank/Boomkin but I'm not to set with the boomkin spec yet, thinking of changing over to feral dps... although I despise the rotation... my main is a Combat rogue and we don't have a SUPER easy rotation (like a boomkin/arcane mage/paladin, etc) although the addons you use seem to make it substantially easier for you. Maybe I'll give them a shot, they do tend to look a tad confusing though.

so first of all, ur interface is a huge messbut nice dps over all.

Druid dps is one of the most annoying ones there is since theres a strict rule of priorities u have to follow wich gets annoying after a while tho its amazing dps if u can figure it out sadly tho most people go for oomkin since its easier. its like enh shamans its really easy to suck at it since missing 1 spell priority can be a 1-2k dps lose. and bad kitty = win for any feral.

i dont understand feral dps, too complicated, go boomkin, easy pew pew dps... i have decent gear, not good trinks that pop off massive SP buffs, but i got muradins eyeglass and silver pure [ just for SP ], i have 4 set, 264's some 251's etc, good gear, but not compared to other... i beat out top guilds GM [ rogue ] in dps, has heroics nd all bunch of shit... i push 11-12k on heroic training dummy unbuffed, maintain 9-10k dps.... i just need gear to be even better, good dps =]

@alpha1337 First, you shouldn't swipe at all in that fight ... the gouls are there for the off tank to pick up and use to stack the disease so you can kill the big goul in a reasonable amount of time.

@alpha1337 You see on this fight blizzard provided you with a tool, they called it Necrotic Plague.. Having on OT pick up everything except LK and bringing him away from the raid and dispelling players as they place themselves behind that adds makes the plague jump onto the adds, killing them one by one afterwards, this effectively deals with ALL the adds in phase one, without a single raid member having to DPS them.

I do not always follow the rotation it suggests because sometimes waiting a little longer to apply a rip for example. but it does help me keep track of all the cooldowns and bleed timers!

3.3.3 patch makes the feral rotation a lot easier, Mangle gets a 1min duration. So you dont have to apply it every 10 secs or so and have more energy for shred,rake,ravage.

easier is a relative word, given that it is so much harder that you increase the priority of rake ALOT, given the 4set, and 264 Idol, giving you less energy for your primary damage dealer

Also that although Rake cant miss anymore assuming you are hit capped, you can cut it short, decreasing dps, and making it harder to get it the moment it falls off, no earlier, no later

That would have been correct numbers pre 3.2. But arp got nerfed :3 the hard cap is now 1400 (1399.5 ish)

So you need 722 arp rating to reach the soft cap while using Needle-Encrusted Scorpion :3

The main reason I open up with pounce is a combo points which I use immediately for Savage Roar (plus the fact that I can get very close to bosses in stealth to open up on them), on an average parse pounce accounts for about 7,000 damage for an initial bleed, low threat, with mangle up.

Armor pen is the ideal stat for druids until you can achieve 1,231 ArP with either a combo of trinkets or passive gear/gems... beyond that point agility is your best stat.
