Back in the mid-70's a friend and I used to spend weekends together - we were both single moms just having good times together. We had Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on the stereo and we were dancing. How can you not dance to Nitty Gritty Dirt Band? We got so into it we broke my friend's oak coffee table. It was a big round, heavy one and we totalled it. Fell on it while trying to execute a twirl. So funny. That's what I remember about Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. We had so much fun listening to them.

I actually prefer this version of the song. I think it brings out more of the bluegrass accompanyment and you can hear it better than the faster version. Both are fabulous however I prefer this arrangement.
