  • He has to do the dirty work because he is married to a dirty SOB!

  • Good for you Henry

  • The Harvey DVD SET IS on the market! Its very huge and for a good price!

  • Yes it is! But the major flaw is that its not complete.

  • @1975tooto

    but have been edited

  • this cartoon is not in the public domain

  • thats the baby huey theme song at the start thats not the cartoon thu

  • no, actually, that's the 1955-65 Noveltoons/Modern Madcaps theme - it just happened to be on a few Baby Huey cartoons, because they were released as Noveltoons

Oh, at 0:07 you can tell this was originally a Paramount cartoon from the font used in the words "Presents A..." - the word "Paramount" is blacked out

  • They saved the best scene for last.

  • This almost resembles Gumby's Robot Rumpus

  • Who would have guessed that the title of this episode would be identical to that of a musical genre in the new millennium?

  • I know that is kind of cool

  • Seriously, was tripping off the same thing. This movie also embraces some common computer concepts people wouldn't know about until years later. The robot causes destruction because she has no way to determine when a loop should end on her own.

  • The one you're referring to, 'woodsz', is the 1959 Casper cartoon, "Down To Mirth"; Jack Mercer was also the voice of the mad scientist, "Professor Brainstorm".

  • thanks for posting, brings back many memories...I've been searching on here for a "Modern Madcap" about a mad scientist who creates this anti-gravity device so if anybody has it please post or let me know if you have...thanks.

  • Jack Mercer is the voice of "Henry". Harvey Publlications/Films acquired all of Paramount's 1950-'62 cartoon library {except Popeye} by 1962, and repackaged them as "Harveytoons" on "MATTY'S FUNDAY FUNNIES" and "THE NEW CASPER CARTOON SHOW", and eventually in syndication.

  • I love the jazzy open music after the title, but no credits (of coruse WInston Sharples was music director & Seymour Kneitel was director of these later Parmaounts-this was not a Harveytoon but Modern Madcap.1960)

  • Great cartoon.

  • A pre-cursor to Rosie??
