@jettwonder I maybe saw this on MTV once or twice, but I heard it on WLUP quite a bit. Living in Peoria, I got the Loop by running speaker wire from the cable attachment on my TV to my stereo. Great times!
Killer tune & album! Does anybody know who the blonde actress was in this video?
She looks familiar and I think she just attended The B'zz Malos's reunion this past Saturday 6-18-2011 @ Chord On Blues in St. Charles IL, THX! STS aka UL
Anatoly, I saw and met you guys way back in the day when my friend was dating Tom's sister. I remember Tafoya's green boots. Lol. And also seeing you guys playing live on American Bandstand, Tom with massive hair. We crashed at Tom's after the gig and I remember watching cartoons with Steve the next morning. He had a big blue Ludwig sparkle kit for sale I wished I could have afforded. I still have and listen to this album.
Still a proud owner of this LP and of The Boyzz's. These guys were ahead of their time with their sound and Steve Riley, the drummer, went on to join Blackie Lawless and W.A.S.P. Great video, thanks for the uploading :-)
I used to have the cassette when it first came out. Got it after I see these guys play at ChicagoFest! My favorite song is 'I Love the Way'. Unfortunately lost the tape a long time ago. Anyone know how to get the cd that was released back in '05? I tried regular Internet searches but only found LP's, although someone from Germany ws selling it for $149. Crazy. Thanks.
First time I've ever seen this video; why this group never became big is beyond me. This song starts out mellow, builds up momentum, and climaxes to a full-fury ending. There may have been other songs with the same structure, but never as skillfully effective as this one. The rest of their lone album is well-crafted hard AOR; it briefly came out on CD a few years ago but went out of print very quickly and is now a huge collector's item.
@SnocksRocks I'm the guy who wrote this song (with Tom Holland doing his thing on vocals). Thank you for your comment about how the song builds. That's exactly what we were going for with this track. I never liked the video but it's better then nothing.
Note* They got the album credits wrong ."Rock Art and the X-Ray Style" is the debut album by Joe Strummer and the Mescalerosotice. The B'zz album was titled "Get Up".
Thumbs up if you heard this song in high school and thought is was pure awesomeness.

I had that album and I lost it at a party in 1988 and still think about this tune, then I thought that I could find it here....and there it is.
Just want to thank you guys for this great album, it was the kind of rock that I´ll never stop listening.
God bless you all.
