  • fuck music..

  • I don't get this game

  • i dont understand the rules :O

  • wow the last 3 shots by corey was very very well executed

  • @keilperry have u tried 3cushion billiards? the best/hardest discipline of any cue sport

  • the winner of this match, plays Jimmy"The Master"Worung in the final

  • the commentators are so bad

  • one pocket is a thought process.9 ball. every shot is # FOR YOU.

  • gotta love this game

  • 57 years old reyes

  • The way I see skill level is on a infinite scale... if you are competing against another human being then the skillcap is endless because both opponents have the chance to improve forver at what they do. So for that reason, I don't think you can say that one craft is harder than another in life if the scale for the skill involved is infinite, then how can you scale which one is harder to play?

It's like saying skateboarding is harder than snowboarding. Why ? They both have infinite skill cap.

  • @9LC One Pocket does require more of a thought process than any other cue sport though.

  • @9LC But one pocket isnt a very hard game to execute at all. Its actually easier to execute the shots in one pocket compared to 9ball and eight ball. Snooker is obviously the hardest game to execute.

  • Murphy's law: The bridge is always on the other side!

  • I've heard that Diamond pool tables are the best around, and designed by pool players for pool players, and for the most part they *play* like second to none. But how about a place to keep the bridge other than the floor?? Or a ball storage compartment for One Pocket games?? I can't count the number of times I've had to place the object balls on my coat on a stool when the pocket fills up. This doesn't scream intuitive or practical design to me.

  • There is something called RAID.

  • the music is like 3 minutes of a 66 minute video. I don't understand the bitching about that.

  • that carpet is so distracting

  • lol, he said balls

  • lou ferigno is one of the speakers

  • 0:49:50 Horror movie in the background...

  • Nice upload. Please get rid of the music, it's extremely annoying.

  • I am always impressed by Billy Incardona's eloquent words

  • Why the music... it's kind of annoying

  • It's fun to watch, I don't have the patience to play it well myself, but it's like a game of chess and then when you get a shot the pressure is times 10. You play a several great shot in a row and then miss an easy bank when you get a chance and you're kicking yourself.

  • Thanks for the upload. Great players, but what's up with the music? I'ts kind of disturbing.

  • BTW, I'd rather listen to Freezer Scott and Billy commentate. It angers me that Larry calls him "Efrum". Larry only has a mediocre comprehension of one pocket strategy, and he has an arrogance I don't enjoy nor respect.

  • Billy is very knowledgeable about one pocket. I thoroughly enjoy his insight. Billy is Efren's #1 fan, I am #2. One pocket is like Texas Hold 'em. You constantly have to analyze your odds on each shot. Know when to go, when to protect, when to hide. You always play 2 way shots. Offensive in nature, yet defensive in posture. I love playing this game more than 10 ball, banks, 8 ball, or straight.

  • Apparently Larry can't read since he calls Efren "Efrum"

Other than listening to Larry, this was a great match. Thanks for the upload

  • By the way Billy, Efren missed a few cut shots in that match.

  • I don't know why Incardona has to promote the idea that phillipinos cut the ball better than anyone. No explanation why that is, maybe cause they have slanted eyes? There are plenty of people that cut the ball well that aren't from the phillipines, maybe they have phillipino coaches???

  • @otdave2784 its just a stereotype caused by the amazing performances filipinos have had in America. they cut better, kick better, etcetc. but in reality, a lot of non-filipino players cut very well, and have good if not better cue ball control than the filipinos. its stupid to much such rough assumptions.

  • Damn Corey is taking forever! :(

  • Throughout the game, Billy just pwned Larry

  • One of the best matches

  • One pocket is boring for novices who don't understand the movements or strategy, but extremely interesting to serious players. I love watching Efren, Scott, Gabe and very few others. Most 9-Ball players don't understand the defensive tactics or the importance of posture of the cue ball, in case of an errant strike. Oldster Efren is still the greatest one pocket player in the entire world.

  • @socaliguyhb ye i was watching it , and was like ...what the hell

  • @socaliguyhb very well said!!!

  • @socaliguyhb im basicaly either trying to put the cueball in the opponents hole, leave it frozen in the stack, or go up table to atleast leave distance. apparently theres alot more to it than that because ive gotten my ass handed to me a few times by some old timers that wouldnt last a set with me in a rotation game. im thinking of buying gabe owens video.

  • @socaliguyhb and one pocket players are novices compared to snooker players

  • @8down10

will you trolls stfu already about comparing snooker with billiard. They are both different games and both have their different difficulties.

  • @9LC i would if other people didnt go on about how 9 ball was easy compared to one pocket, they're both easy but people for some reason take pride in saying that one pocket isnt. its snooker, billiards and cushion billiards that are the truly difficult games, not one pocket and bank pool which arent really that much harder than 8 or 9 ball

  • @8down10 But you got to view pool as a game where if you are on a professional level, you pretty much have to run out 10 racks in a row to win and even then you might still lose... that's not easy to run out 10 racks in a row. Of course they don't run out 10 racks in a row every game but that's what they aim for and succeed quite often.

  • @socaliguyhb absolutely agree. when you understand the game to a certain level, the game of 9 ball becomes a bit bland. sure many amateurs can not string racks of 9 ball together, but that is usually because of poor execution (but they know what the right shots are). one pocket is so complicated, it often isn't clear what the "right shot" is.

  • Your the best thank you!!!! Uplaod the finals!!

  • One pocket is such a unique game! I haven't clocked in many hours on it but its interesting to see how creative players have to be in this chess match.

  • Wow! 332 views in just 3 days! That's like every one pocket player in the country :p

  • @TheHydred Yeah.. 300 something this morning and now 811. When you bump these threads up to the main page, its amazing. Makes me think people must only read the 1st page or 2.

  • Caption at 5:21 ... Who's BIlly "L" lol

  • @albert333pool That's a Billy i with a period right after it

  • @CaliRed11 Good "POINT" :)

  • Go to onepocket . org and you can get the rules, history and much more.

  • :-)

  • Does someone know the rules to this game? Every time I thought I had it figured out, they play something that proved me completely wrong.

    Many thanks.

  • @memoryfish12

Each player is "assigned" one of the lower two pocket to make balls in to score points. The first player to score 8 points wins the game. If a player fouls he must replace one ball on the spot and deduct a point from his score. If a ball is pocketed in any other pocket it is spotted.

    Hope that helps.

  • @memoryfish12 It's an awesome game when two Champions are going at it! You wont be disappointed
