Dan Wheldon Career Highlights

I think his lasting legacy will be that people are watching IndyCar now because of the accident in Vegas. Outsiders are interested in how they will respond and how the new cars will be safer. People are watching and talking about it now.

I saw Wheldon win 2 races, one at the 500 last year and one in 2005 at PPIR. He should be considered one the greatest ever. His Indy 500 stats speak for that. The last 3 years, one win and 2 seconds.

He also as well reminded me of Jeff gordon. Dan wheldon was the reason I even watched indycar. It is very sad, even till now I still can't believe that he's dead. RIP Dan wheldon

My favorite indycar driver. I remember him winning his first title and man I was so excited because he was a kid that showed so much aggression and talent. That was a guy I could be behind and truly be excited about. He reminded me of Jeff Gordon in so many manners from talent to being a quality human being. I was so bumed when he died, man he was something that fans loved to see in a guy. What an amazing guy he was, we all miss him and we will all remember him.
