Like, is evening breeding always the best idea?or does early dawn also work? Do you reduce the temp of the room/heavily spray the tank beforehand? If so, weeks before?couple of months? @judomouse I have 2 very gravid females that are refusing to lay, trtying out differen't temps to get them to lay! I believe cooler temps are the way to go....I have had a VERY experienced breeder tell me this also!

Cool thats what i thought. It always seems that if the species of T you are breeding encounters relatively cool temperatures in the wild then then that is the way to go when pairing them up. I guess its because in the wild they would naturally breed after winter when spring finally arrives???

@judomouse my p. subfusca laid this morning, wasnt expecting a sac from her, thought she was preparing to moult. i diddnt do anything special to be honest, just a constant temperature (just above room temp) i misted heavily before intro of the male, that stayed moist up until today when she laid. the settings for my heater went wrong the other day and it been slightly cooler the past few days, dont know if that prompted it. i just keep it constantly warm and humid. hope that helps.
