People say Hillel and Jack completed the real line-up, but as far as I'm concerned, John and Chad are the real talent. Frusciante is the most underrated guitarist of his generation. Total genius. "Indie" bands have no idea how to sound this tight, and yet still leave room for improve and space for shaking it up a bit. Watch and listen carefully, generic indie bands of the world , this is how a proper rock band plays.
