that wasnt bad, but move out side of the penitonic scale, and play with it more. its hard to get used to but once you do its more fun, one piece of advice is while your experimenting and you slip out of key you are never more than a half step away from getting back into your keysignature. sooo by that sometimes you can just slide up or down and be like i did that on purpose and people usually dont notice unless its continuous. just words of advice though
