  • ahhhhh the Reverend!!!! nice choice

  • very cool tone. I have never seen a guitar like that. Its really cool looking.

  • Sounds great - great chops! Can I ask what you think of the guitar? Also, what kind of amp are you playing through?

  • Thanks.

The buckshot is a killer guitar overall. It's kinda in the tele realm but not at the same time. It's not as "twangy" as a tele and you can get some really cool clean sounds out of the neck minihumbucker.

I believe in the clip I was playing through a Reverend Kingsnake head and a Peavey 2x12 cab.

  • The guitar sounded great... then when you put it into bridge position, I think that hit the spot. That sounds amazing.

  • Hey, nice playing and everything, but an Air Force guy shouldn't be wearing a shirt from Old NAVY! Come on! ;)

  • Thanks Isaac....sorry...I'll burn the shirt immediately!

  • The Buckshot is an amazing guitar stock out of the box. I'm getting a Special Agent next.

  • so the 59 is a humbucker that can twang? because i am thinking of replacing my bridge pup in my strat with something that can give me that fat sound with a single coil twang. can the lil 59 do that?

  • well...it doesn't do a bad job...but I took back out shortly after this and put the stock reverend single coil back. It just had way more character to it.

  • Hell yes man. I just put a little 59 in my korean made telecaster, and damn does it add some serious crunch and twang and fat tone man, definitely made the right choice. I also have a noiseless fender in the neck and the two sound great together, no noise at all. Just a wee bit of feed back.

  • Yep...it's a Revtron...Reverend's Gretsch Filtertron style pickup. My new favorite. Incidentally...I pulled the seymour duncan back out. The Reverend single coil Tele style pup has way more bite to it.

  • what licks are you playing there? Are they your own?

  • yeah...just me messing around a little.

  • Is that the stock neck pickup?
