Man, it's sad that such a great talent couldn't break into the US industry. I don't think they did things right. Her album barely got any promotion, and if it did, it wasn't in the right spots. She was on a lot of Asian-American related shows and networks but that's not enough to get her out there. She performed at MTV's TRL studio AFTER TRL went off the air. Horrible timing and promotion/marketing planning...

It's all about marketing really. SM entertainment doesn't have a foot hold in USA or any hook ups for that matter. BoA won't get anywhere if she continue with SM in the states.
