  • Hey I just started programming in xcode/cocoa , when you run your app, in the menu bar it says the name of the app, how can I change it, cuz when I run mine I wanted it to say a custom string but instead it says the name of the project?

  • @ScrewedUpDNA21 to do this, open up the MainMenu.xib file for the project and then under tools, open up attributes inspector. then just click on the window you want to change the title of in interface builder and in the attributes section of the window you've selected, you'll see the option to change the title of the window.

  • It doesnt work with me

  • Your application is very funny!

(btw what is the name of the song)

  • @maxoomen thanks...

i made this a while ago, but i'm way past that level of programming now.

the song is just the song that plays whenever you turn on a brand new mac computer. i found it when i was searching through some of the system files of my computer.

  • yeah, it's based off that, but i kind of changed it. i've changed it even more since then.

  • This is like the app I made in one of my lessons.
