@jakobboy1 I know this kind of sounds nerdish but here it goes. The Sisters of battles thought that EVERYONE was corrupted so they decided to kill IG and SM. The space marines tried to get the IG to follow them but there was no clear chain of command. Because Command said that Stubbs was in charge of recllaiming the system but the space marines come in to help. But the Sace marines had the official command but the IG general said he was in charge so it resulted in the slaughter. It was a mess up

@jakobboy1 Reason for this is that the Bravens came there on their own, while the IG was there from the beginning, and then the Ordo Hereticus were sent to remove chaos but saw that all were corrupted (which they were not).

So in reallity it wasn't the imperium that ordered the Spehsmahrns to get there and it was the Ordo Hereticus to send the Bolter Bitches. :D

Also The Imperium is so vast that communication is realy slow which means organsising things dose not work so well. Sp ace marines genraly go around looking for places to help/free the Imperial Guard was already there (I think) and the Sisters of battle wanted to Cleanse the worlds but the IG didn't want to leave because it was their home and the SM believed that they could do a better job.

The funnt thing is, that the Imperial Guard were sanctioned by the emperor. But they were just supposed to be planetary defendersm such as Police, Firemen, and so on. But then they started to develop a sense of rebellion. They started making up their own beliefs and blasphemies. So then from being nothing more then soilders, they ammased into the 1st Imperial Regiment. It must be saddening for the Emperor to see his children slaughter one another in his name.
