206 outhandles the A3, and is lighter. If the 1.8T is in standard 150bhp form then the Pug is also quicker. BUT...a simple generic remap and the A3 is much quicker (200+ bhp dependant upon K03 or Ko3s turbo) and a LOT more torque. The A3 is also much better made (with no cheap plastic, especially interior), but arguably not as nice looking. If you want a fast French car buy a 172 or 182 Clio.

I've got the 207RC & I think it's a great car, sporty but more GT like though. The Clio 197 is an awesome car, definitely better when it comes to hill climbing & I was this close selling our Colt CZT & getting a 197 R26 F1 but then the crisis started :(...The new S3 is a serious car, in fact I was this close getting one with the MTM flash with 330HP but I decided it was too fast for me at this point so I got the RC...The 206RC is a manic old school hot hatch but the Clio 182 was better :)

The turbo in the 1.8t a3 is much better than one in the GTI. The a3 is also generally just a better car with a more luxurious build.

As for category, yes S3 is in the RC category, but still RC is way better than the S3. Besides, Audi uses Turbo, while RC uses Variable valve timing, that is a little close to the VTEC in Honda (Type R) missing the electronic lift control only. :) That's engineering, not Turbos. And they are not even close. Too bad Audi as well as MINI S which uses Supercharger as well. Honda then Peugeot as for technology.

Well I had Leon fr and now Ibiza cupra. Peugeot is waaaay behind in everything. U cant do chip tuning to clio cause of there is no turbo, its the same in 206rc. 207 has turbo but u cant really do anything for it cause there is so little engine that it cant give much more power without harm.
