Ah that brings back memories as a kid, I've seen it post renovation and don't care for it, they put way too much stuff/scenes into it now and it's too kid-friendly Flintstones like. I remember it being dark and kinda spooky but not like the haunted castle type of scary. Thanks for posting :-)

Thanks so much for posting! The ride is still there... sort of. They shifted its location/track and it's all blacklight and trippy neon whatever now, nothing like the aesthetic of the original. The only scene they really kept was the ballroom. :(

When I was 4, I used to be so terrified of the cave men, because they looked so weird to me, and for some reason I just had a phobia of animatronics in general... Kinda weird, I know... But even the cave man they had riding on the sky way that was not moving scared me.

It's too bad that they did an overhaul on it. I really enjoyed this ride as a kid in the early-mid 80's. I think I would be disappointed in it now. Thanks for posting!

yeah, it was closed down for about two years and it underwent a overhall with some of the animatronics being replaced.

still the same experience though, except the beginning is a lot different,

instead of all of the lights theres a sickening revolving tube that you cross through.

Yes. This was the cave train of my childhood. They redid the whole ride about 2001ish. It has a lot of the same pieces but different theme. Thanks for this. :) It brought back some memories.

It's whatever the ride was in 1997. I think some things have changed since then.
