@llewesa100 But Eurotunnel is really expensive. In a car it is over GBP200 whereas DFDS is around GBP20! For the van, I paid GBP56 if I remember rightly - it was only 6cm over the limit but I did not want to risk it!
@alanheath Oh really?Because i went with National Express/Eurolines iI suppose that was included in the price of the ticket or they have some arrangment with Eurotunnel if they use that route regularly.Sometimes it was through Eurotunnel OR the ferry.DIDn't really make that much ditfference to the timing;always arrived in Rotterdam by 5 in the morning or thereabouts.
