I think George Monbiot has been treated like a bio-gas generator: He's been fed a pile of crap! I can't believe this is the same man who wrote the brilliant book "Captive State"! What's happened to you George!? He's talking about a Green catastophe! And all to stop the emissions of a completely harmless natural gas that has no effect on climate change at all! Ironically Carbon (TM) is the only harmless thing we do emit! Let's focus on stopping REAL environmental harm, guys!
"dirty" coal, is coal with a higher ammount of sulpherous particles within it. You're quite right when you say that capturing co2 but allowing sulphur dioxide and other emissions through would be unfortunate, but surely it would still be better than what's happenning now, where it's all spewed out into the atmosphere?

Don´t these so called "experts" have any idea of what they are talking about? "Dirty coal," "cleaner coal."
CO2 is not dirty and it would make no difference to dirty emmissions if CO2 is captured.
Look at the huge picture they have in the background, is that CO2?
How can I listen to these people when they are either fooling the public or are just plain ignorant to reality.
