I dont have diabetes, but was told by my doctor that I have neuropathy from having cervical spinal stenosis.I have nerve damage in my spine. My feet and arms tingle and numb all the time.Sometime its hard to walk or use my arms.Im gonna get tested for MS too.
NUROPOTHY ALSO CAUSED BY CELIAC... I have PCOS and CELIAC DISEASE, the most undiagnosed and easily treated disease that causes stomach problems. PROBIOTICS, GLUTEN FREE AND a SIMPLE BLOOD TEST CAN TELL YOU demand the blood test. Other symptoms under or over weight, various gastric complaints, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain and bloating. Anemia, Crohns, PCOS, gastric ulcers, parasitic infection skin disorders, nerves, numbness in arms and legs: all COULD BE CELIAC!
Alpha Lipoic Acid is the recommended treatment in Germany for neuropathy. You can buy it in any pharmacy and it's not expensive. My mom has been using it as have a few others I know and it has worked for them. Do some research and see what you find online. There is info out there.
what is described is true, for me. But I dont understand where that blood - sugar goes by using medicines? Why medicines for that, Why not for healthy PANCREAS ? mainly all problems come from disorder - working of pancreas.

Check out *aspartame* It's in diet soads, just about everything low or no cal. All the symptoms of neuropathy can be found in aspartame poisoning. I have neuropathy, and am NOT diabetic. I use to drink diet pepsi from the time I got up, till bed. I'm 99.9% sure it's aspartame that caused my neuropathy. Let me know what you find out.
I tried to get Neuragen, the product to treat nerve pain, at my local drug store. The pharmacist said that it was available only by prescription. This is strange seeing the Neuragen was advertised as non-prescription. I just went on amazon and ordered it from there.
@JWNS08 I recently discovered Neuragen and have been using the liquid and the balm. I find the balm more helpful. I do like that it makes my feet feel a bit better, more so than the prescription drugs I've been offered. It's pretty expensive and the balm comes in a carmex sized jar, the smaller jar that is. It's better than nothing though!
I have some sort of neuropathy and their trying to figure out whats causing it. I DONT have diabetes and EVERYWHERE i look, it says it is mostly caused by diebeties!
Actually 30% is caused by idiopathic reason (aka unknown cause). 30% diabetes remainder could be caused by autoimmune disorders, tumors, heredity, nutrion, infections or toxins.
By any chance have you been on birth control?(if you are female). I was on it for a few months in 2007(stupid in my case as I didn't need it at all). I got neuropathy at that time. That was the one thing that was different in my habits/exposures. I've had it ever since. I'm pretty sure I don't have diabetes.

Is there is a CURE for neuropathy? Like taking a lot of vitamin B1, 6 & 12?
I want to know please if there's a cure for neuropathy NOT just pain control, like taking lyrica and such stuff.
Thank you!
