for the longest time all i could play with is the direct hit and the liberty launcher cuz i only used the direct hit. my head almost exploded when i went to the stock rocket launcher and it was so easy to aim with.

@robloxguy23 Liberty Launcehr is better. It has half speed from direct hit and splash damage but smaller clip size. Makes it perfect for offence and support. It's good launcher.

Direct hit is more for offence and defense. High projectile speed and small blast radius and damage bonus practices your aim and makes your better soldier. I prefer using GunBoats and eQualizer with it like Icy.

@zigzapmarek22 This is where your wrong. The best rocket launchers in the game are the stock and the direct hit. The liberty launcher is pretty pointless since you lose a rocket just for extra speed, which is only an aid for people who dont have the timing down. The black box sacrifices dps for 45 health which in the end, 4 half assed rockets will still beat out 3; the only time this shines is when your playing in a valve pub. DH and RL have the highest dps and allow for a higher versatility.

@Nrobread For offence Direct hit is better just when somebody can aim with it.Direct Hit and Black Box has power but some cons. Direct hit is best for no Clip size penalty and Black Box for 15+ on hit, Liberty Launcher is good for Offence, Direct hit for Defense and Offence, Black Box for support, Black Box is better cuz you can kill heavy without loosing too much health, Liberty is good of projectile speed, but bad of Clip size. NroBread, you're right but in conclusion, RL DH BB and LL Are best

I remember the first time I used the direct hit. I got addicted to it and started to quickly learn how to lunch and gib people mid-air. Then the black box came out. I immedietly took it up and got my ass handed to me for a looooong time. Once a direct hitter, always a direct hitter

Just one thing, when you have the equalizer and you have lost even a little health you should run with it out. Always switch back when you're about to go into combat but you should run with it out.

Funniest thing to do with the Direct Hit is shoot at someone below you, whose trying to rocket or sticky jump up to you and they jump into the rocket. Mini-Crits ftw.

I find that the Direct Hit is very useful in narrow hallways and mid-ranges, but unless you're real skilled with the DH, you'll need to use the shotgun occasionally.

At 5:24 when your medic died, you allowed him to be closer to the heavy than you. Good if you're trying to stay alive, not so good if you want your medic to live.

@454Casull Last I saw the medic was on the platform, I jumped up to stop the heavy from shooting at him, did my job and knocked the heavy down and then my medic decided to follow along and jump in front of a shooting heavy. Not really my fault, he should have popped his uber anyways.

@dantsuale I do use that setting in-game but take it out when I'm recording. I also have the sound indicator too. I just didn't think people want to constantly see numbers and here dinging sounds constantly in my videos =p

Beautiful smash on the sniper at the end.

As a scout versus a soldier, I try to get at him unsuspected and unload a few scattergun shots at point blank. Once he realizes I'm there, I run to distance and shoot him off with my pistol. If he switches to shotgun, I switch to scattergun and finish him off. So when you play soldier, you'll want to stay in a confined space so that the rockets do some splash damage, which can bring down a scout easily.
