Switch 625 is a tribute to Steve's genius guitar playing skill, he lives on the most through this song, this version is absolutely amazing, RIP Steve-3 Def Leppard \m/
Rick allen showed how awesome a one arm drummer can be. He has been defined as a one arm drummer for so long, He is just a kick ass drummer who could blow the doors off alot of two arm drummers. I wonder how good he would be if he had his other arm.
Phil is awesome as always, Steve clark would be impressed. I bet old pete willis is kicking himself for messing up a gig like this.
I love and respect these guys because they have had the strength and courage to carry on after Steve Clark's passing and Rick Allen's accident. Very inspirational! These guys are incredible and I have total respect for them. Thanks Def Leppard for the great music and long live Def Leppard!
I think that Phil was thinking of steve when he was playing this. Cause at some parts you could see his face expression. And i love that Rick still gots it after he got his arm removed. He still could drum and bust off a solo anytime... DEF LEPPARD RULES!
@pflo99 they play it in tribute to Steve. That's like saying Lynard Skynard shouldn't be allowed to play Freebird or The Who can't play "My Generation" because the bass player died. Switch is always played in tribute to Steve and the impact he had on the band. I rather enjoy it. Always gets a pretty good response when they start that guitar riff.
Steamin' Steve did this much better. Also, I saw Rick play this with 2 arms. The guy was a phenomanal accoustic set drummer. He played with a lot of power much like Bonham.
I was there that night. I remember when Rick did that epic epic drum bit I turned to my buddy beside me and we were each like "how the fuck does he do that with one damned arm?"
@KingBobert He's the Thundergod, you could hear lightning shooting at 2:40. Which goes to say he's one kick ass drummer. Also, you can see their into the song which you know is a great homage to Steve "stemin" Clark.
I hate to rain on your parade, But I think Steve would be a little disapointed. It's played way to fast and doesn't have that flawless sound he gave it! if only Steve could rise from the dead! Music needs him! and so does Def Leppard.
this song SO ROCKS and i'm so glad that they are still playing it to this day, and i think that Steve would be please with the band that they kept on playing this song.
viv campbell is play the solo, they dont show him mich it seems, yet he is a great player, with tons of credits, one of the best straight rock guitarists still going
wow! Awesome vid of their tribute to Steve .. although no one can capture his freedom ... his spirit. Phil such the ultimate tactician.. His lose friend.. its a great tribute to a great guitar player by those that knew him best... No need for Joe's voc's or Viv .. just Phil,Sav and Rick. I'm sure they jammed with Steve many times something like this. music from the heart .. you cant beat it! It feels so good... feels so right! RIP: Stephen Clark. I know you can still feel the Love!
Wow im not a huge viv fan but i dont talk bad about him jezz what do you think steve is saying about you guys! you guys are being reallt weird and i ment boys name, vivian is originaly a boys name. k !!! i know a high school student name vivian and hes a dude!!!
Steve clark was a best musician of def leppard I think it's an insult with defleppard haters who post mean this about the band you just don't anything about the band
wow people, move on... steve is dead yea and it is horrible we all miss him... but its time to turn the page...vivian cambell is a great guitarist, and nobody on the face of the earth would be up to steves standards...and vivian isnt the bass player by the way, hes the other guitarist, rick savage plays bass.
Yes I know who Vivian Campbell is. He wasn't good enough to be with DIO or Whitesnake either. So my comment being that he propably was blowing someone backstage is truly meant.

Check the writing credits for this song on 'High n Dry'..
#5. "Switch 625" Clark 3:03
It's the only song on the album that only has one writing credit.
They should not play this song live.
It's just wrong..
