  • phil colleen rips it in memory of his departed guitar slinging brother(steve clark) on this one.

  • anyone knowthe origin of the title switch 625?

  • a littletoo fast, miss Steve "steamin" Clark

  • Awesome awesome video. Nice drum solo by Rick. Im seeing them Aug 17 in Detroit! Gonna be a great show!

  • how could someone dislike this??

  • You all rock on R,I,P, STEVE CLARK. you are the MAN you are.

  • LOVE IT!!!!! Will be getting to see them on the 22nd of June in Charlotte, N.C.....CAN'T WAIT!!! GREAT VIDEO!!!

  • "Switch 625" is my FAV song from "High N Dry".

  • my jaw just hit the floor my blood pressure just dropped my eyes just rolled in the back of my head...that was SO AMAZING!!!!

  • Switch 625 is a tribute to Steve's genius guitar playing skill, he lives on the most through this song, this version is absolutely amazing, RIP Steve-3 Def Leppard \m/

  • No body But Rick could do that!!!!

  • Rick is playing like a "three arms" drummer.

  • Rick allen showed how awesome a one arm drummer can be. He has been defined as a one arm drummer for so long, He is just a kick ass drummer who could blow the doors off alot of two arm drummers. I wonder how good he would be if he had his other arm.

Phil is awesome as always, Steve clark would be impressed. I bet old pete willis is kicking himself for messing up a gig like this.

  • Rick is simply marvelous. And seing him live is amazing.

  • I love and respect these guys because they have had the strength and courage to carry on after Steve Clark's passing and Rick Allen's accident. Very inspirational! These guys are incredible and I have total respect for them. Thanks Def Leppard for the great music and long live Def Leppard!

  • I think that Phil was thinking of steve when he was playing this. Cause at some parts you could see his face expression. And i love that Rick still gots it after he got his arm removed. He still could drum and bust off a solo anytime... DEF LEPPARD RULES!

  • i love what phil has done for "leppard" but youre all right. thats not steve. but what can we do since hes gone?always remember

  • Comment removed

  • it's all good ... as long as it's collen playing or campbell. STEVE CLARK RULES

  • Check the writing credits for this song on 'High n Dry'..

    #5. "Switch 625" Clark 3:03

It's the only song on the album that only has one writing credit.

They should not play this song live.

    It's just wrong..

  • @davinci5152 agree completely.

  • fake and gay

  • @AllOtherNamesTaken YOUR GAY

  • no Steve, no Switch 625. Its that simple.

  • @pflo99 they play it in tribute to Steve. That's like saying Lynard Skynard shouldn't be allowed to play Freebird or The Who can't play "My Generation" because the bass player died. Switch is always played in tribute to Steve and the impact he had on the band. I rather enjoy it. Always gets a pretty good response when they start that guitar riff.

  • omfg Thundergod! That was crazy

  • i think that the more times u watch it, he keeps goin fatser and faster!!

  • 3L04 i thought he was goeing painkiller! :P

  • @cliffthelightning lol, I thought the same thing!

  • Rick Allen jest po prostu niesamowity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick Allen is simply amazing, honestly ... I admire him a great respect ... he is a genius !!!!!

  • Rick is the man.

  • Steamin' Steve did this much better. Also, I saw Rick play this with 2 arms. The guy was a phenomanal accoustic set drummer. He played with a lot of power much like Bonham.

  • Dope!!! I've never seen Rick drum so fast!

  • as always i am blown away by rick what an amazing drummer

    rip steve

  • I was there that night. I remember when Rick did that epic epic drum bit I turned to my buddy beside me and we were each like "how the fuck does he do that with one damned arm?"

  • How the hell did Rick do that?! That was amazing!

  • @KingBobert He's the Thundergod, you could hear lightning shooting at 2:40. Which goes to say he's one kick ass drummer. Also, you can see their into the song which you know is a great homage to Steve "stemin" Clark.

  • I love it faster. This version rocks!

  • the drummer rocks you know how hard it is to play the drum with one arm and feet thats alot of practice

  • Can tell they this one takes them back. Allen's reaction at the end.

  • Great vid thanks for the post!dissa pointing theres no vocals choirs in it but

  • Sorry guys, but you'll never do it like PETE WILLIS and STEVE CLARK !!! They were the masters...

  • I'm with you, I think this version is mediocre. I'll only listen to the orginal version of this song.

  • Amazing song! Go rick for having one arm if u just listen without watching you'd think he had both. still great song. \m/

  • Whoa...they're playing it REALLY fast in this...

  • I think It's too fast!

  • @TheBrainstorm9703 I would agree

  • Steve would be so proud!

    God bless him!

  • I hate to rain on your parade, But I think Steve would be a little disapointed. It's played way to fast and doesn't have that flawless sound he gave it! if only Steve could rise from the dead! Music needs him! and so does Def Leppard.

  • Wow, I'd love to see this one played the next time I see them in concert.

  • this song SO ROCKS and i'm so glad that they are still playing it to this day, and i think that Steve would be please with the band that they kept on playing this song.

  • omfg rick rullleesss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Still the Thunder God I see.... Damn.

  • I miss Steve. He always gave that song a certain sound that made it kick ass.

  • @BanzaiBigJ Yes he did.

  • they still kick ass

  • Rick Allen... !!!

  • Rick Allen did an EXCELLENT job playing this song!!!!!

  • Riock Allen works his ass off in this song!!

  • @gpchilds Of course he did, DUH! He's Rick Allen!

  • This is really good for being live.

  • I meant who * :D

  • i found a website with bulgarian common phrases translated to English. LOL pretty kewel huh?

  • Oh (blush)

    I'm glad. :D

    HUGS!!!!!!

  • Switch 625... Steve Clark... no words are needed!

    It totally rocks!!!

I really like the live version.

  • Siastri! Priiatel!! any idea how long it took me to spell that right? lol. :)

  • How had tought you those words? :D Poisonivyyy?

  • AMEN bro. Without Steve it kinda has lost its steam. Besides, Steve Created that song.

  • drum solo is awesome,Rick is great!!!

  • I like the Leps but this is tedious.

  • Tedious? Wow, you are an idiot.

  • idiot...

  • viv campbell is play the solo, they dont show him mich it seems, yet he is a great player, with tons of credits, one of the best straight rock guitarists still going

  • Mr. Allen, well done at the end there mate.

  • everybody talks about the guitar work (which is great) but how bout rick allen at the end!!! holy shit!

  • wow! Awesome vid of their tribute to Steve .. although no one can capture his freedom ... his spirit. Phil such the ultimate tactician.. His lose friend.. its a great tribute to a great guitar player by those that knew him best... No need for Joe's voc's or Viv .. just Phil,Sav and Rick. I'm sure they jammed with Steve many times something like this. music from the heart .. you cant beat it! It feels so good... feels so right! RIP: Stephen Clark. I know you can still feel the Love!

  • great

  • Steve Clark forever*

  • steve clarck forever!

  • Fantastic quality on the video, and of course a perfect performance as always!

  • Wow im not a huge viv fan but i dont talk bad about him jezz what do you think steve is saying about you guys! you guys are being reallt weird and i ment boys name, vivian is originaly a boys name. k !!! i know a high school student name vivian and hes a dude!!!

  • Steve clark was a best musician of def leppard I think it's an insult with defleppard haters who post mean this about the band you just don't anything about the band

  • always my fav instrumental

  • wow people, move on... steve is dead yea and it is horrible we all miss him... but its time to turn the page...vivian cambell is a great guitarist, and nobody on the face of the earth would be up to steves standards...and vivian isnt the bass player by the way, hes the other guitarist, rick savage plays bass.

  • Bigjsworld:IM pretty sure thats phil collen playing, not vivian, Vivian is the bass player.

  • hes rick savage hon!

  • haha oops i mean rick savage. I vivian is the stupid repleacement for steve. RIP steamin steve 8)

  • Rick Savage is the bass player not vivian...you people don't know anything...

  • It is Phil playing the lead here. If they only fitting that Phil plays the lead in tribute to his friend.

  • Yes I know who Vivian Campbell is. He wasn't good enough to be with DIO or Whitesnake either. So my comment being that he propably was blowing someone backstage is truly meant.

  • You sure know how to make yourself look like an idiot. Please don't comment on what you don't know anything about.

  • Def Leppard should have honored Steve more by getting someone else other than Vivian Campbell. Isn't Vivian a girls name anyways?

  • its origianly a girls name + its not his fault

  • Where's Vivian?

  • propably blowing someone backstage.

  • I hope you realize Viv is a man....

  • viv plays at the other end of the stage. you only get like one or two glimpses at the end

  • Steve Clark gone, Pete Willis gone, this band used to be bad ass now it's a second rate pop outfit.

  • Nice, I was there at that exact same concert, damn has it really been that long?

I was 15 back then, again thanks for posting this.
