I have friends in government that make more than I do, get a great pension and full benefits, on my back. So 2 things:

1. Money. Pay off the National Debt with an interest-free loan from a new Central Bank.

2. Taxes. Base taxes on a flat tax and tax on consumption. In doing so, bring the power BACK to local government by having 3 parts of every dollar go to the Municipality in which it is generated, 2 parts to the Province and 1 to Federal. Enough of this federally-controlled country.

As perverse as it sounds and as sad as it is, PIMCO's actions this last week (selling ALL their US Treasuries & Bonds) as well as the Japanese earthquake and tsunami should, in a Black Swan way, help accelerate America's collapse. The Japanese are as of Friday (US time) selling out of US Treasuries and Bonds, repatriating money back home to help with the inevitable rebuilding effort. I don't see any more Yen go to the US of A to buy Green paper. Who's left? Ben Shalom Bernanke. Print on! QE3?

Oil Shale is a SCAM. There's a thing called Energy Returned On Energy Invested - EROEI. It takes a certain quantity of energy to get energy out of shale. The problem with oil shale is that it's almost 1 to 1. You spend nearly 1 unit of energy to get 1 unit of energy out of oil shale.

This is why some oil is "unrecoverable". It doesn't mean it's not there, it means it's pointless to dig it up.

The US have never had it so good and they think $4 a gallon is expensive, but they don't realize other countries have been paying twice + as much for decades. The US is pretty clueless about a lot of countries and the price of what stuff costs. Well, that is all about to change - and soon.
