The Triforce of Courage was an illusion. It was 'given' to Link, so that you would stfu about not having ULTIMET POWAH, and play the gaem. this will be revealed as a fact in the upcoming game 'The Legend of Zelda:Time Shift'.

I actually was a huge fan of the video game way before the show. I remember hating the show because it ruined what I thought Link, Zelda, and Ganon were like. Now I know that the Mario cartoons were also goofy, but Mario was never meant to be taken seriously. Zelda should have been an anime or more of an epic action cartoon, like Thundercats or He-Man. At least that is always how I felt.

Also, you're 20 years old (according to your myspace page) which means you were born in 1989. By then Zelda I and II had already come out and so had the TV show. And also, you were still a baby and wouldn't have been able to recognize Zelda until maybe around 2-3 years old (1991ish). So I dunno how you can claim to be a fan "way before" the show.

I was born in 1982 and so I grew up without there being a Link until the first game came out. I've been with the series from the very beginning.

I have an older family member who was also a huge Zelda freak and got me into the first game. I did happen to watch recorded tapes of the Zelda cartoon after beating the first game several times. You are right that I was a baby when they first came out, but it doesn't make me less of a fan. My older cousin, who introduced me to Zelda, feels the exact same way that I do.

2) Their math is not wrong. In the original game, Ganon had the Triforce of Power and Zelda had the Triforce of Wisdom, which she split into eight pieces before she was kidnapped by Ganon. In the second game, Link recovers the Triforce of Courage which had been sealed away at the Great Palace, thus completing the Triforce.

1) In every 2D Zelda game Link could shoot energy from his sword when he was at full health. In the first 2 games (and this cartoon) the highest sword was called the Magical Sword. The Master Sword was first called that in Zelda 3: A Link to the Past.
