I realize he was trying to be inspirational and all, but all that about those "crazy PHDs" studying bumblebees is part of the anti intellectualism that people hate about the right. Science wants to figure out how bumblebees can do it, so that we can advance technology. Rightists just say "Bumblebees fly because God wants them to" and are happy without advancing technology.
