i need help getting hd loader to start wat am i doing wrong i have a hard drive in the bay i have uLaunch on memory card and thats as far as i got wats next ? plz some one help PLZ !!!!!!! i need to put socom 1& 2 on my hard drive so i dont fuck them up

i had the same exploit on my memory card but it deleted itself for some reason but with mine i could use any ps1 game as long as it was made before 2000 the downside is that i dont have that memorycard anymore because it deleted itself is there any way that you could copy it to a memorycard for me

I know there's some device to connect the HDD (w/ the Net adapter intact) to PS2 slim consoles, but I keep forgetting what it's called lol. Anyone know what I'm talking about (sort like a "3rd party" tool to get it working on slim consoles w/o needing the actual expansion bay I think)

Yo, remember me? You copied the data to the memory card for me and I sold you that Network adapter. Well I finally got around to doing this. My ps2 has trouble reading discs and I didn't want to open that one as it has sentimental value and was like from one ofthe most awesome Christmas' ever.

I bought a "broke" ps2 on ebay for 99 cents and all it needed was a dusting and it's working fine. It was knuckle deep in dust inside there but I've got it going fine and installing my first game.

It will. McBoot lets you launch UlaunchElf, and has a menu configurator to add your own items to it's OSDSYS menu.

Also, the newbie package for McBoot has HDLoader in the package. ;)

yeah i just installed the latest mcboot, now the only thing i'm lookin for is network adapter... they're expensive even new ones, and don't even mention ebay they overprice

I am seriously considering getting a set of 4 network adaptors from ebay. Getting them in bulk wont bother me, since I can load up some friends and relative for christmas this way, and be relatively inexpensive. (150$ for 4 net adaptors comes out to about 35$ish a pop, which isnt bad.)

They all have old "Fat" PS2s, so it's all good. Right now I am limping along with USB advance. (McBoot works with it too.)

yeah, but from where i live (asia) the product's shipping costs much more than the product itself, though japan versions should be easier to get here, they're not, they're very scarce, anyway i too had USB advance how's the compatibility?
