SHIFT is a nice game, but only after you remove tons of useless crap from the tracks and enable the damage + many other mods that enhance realism.

IMO, default SHIFT too much consolified. Too simple, too much *everything*, except realism.

Why is it that in every car in this game sounds like it has a sequential gearbox with straight cut gears? I am pretty sure the stock Aston Martin doesn't have straight cut gears. (if its stock)

nice work driftwood. I find it best to out speed them and keep the lead then to joust with them in close quarters. However it is fun to fight with them over positions. I do agree that the A.I. isn't very smart. But visuals in this game are most appealing. The aston Martin DB9 has the curves of a fine european woman with the heart of a tiger for an engine. But each to their own game of course.

@iMULTIPLAYERi you mean blocking? just block cars that are trying to pass you like braking while they accelerate so they ram your back bumper or need to brake real hard :P

Forza 3 is way better. The last three Need For Speed games were terrible and just frustrating at most points. This game looks even worst because the computer makes mistakes now. Forza 3 all the way.

developers really need to fix the racing ai. I mean thsi is som esort of "simulator" right? i think stuff like this doesnt happen too often in real races. hope there will be a fix for this soon

I've tried to win this race for over half an hour I finally managed to come in first for one entire lap and they bumped me out in the last corner *(#^%$%^$*. I almost smashed my ps. I finished 3rd :(
