@ssgtholder i've listened to those band's music after a few comments telling me to hear them out... they r actually not bad, i liked them.. the thing is that they are not actually thrash metal bands... DUMBASS!! i've never heard a thrash metal music with a girl as the lead voice... don't get me wrong, i've got nothing against them!! or the bands that u liked... in case u don't know, all the "big four" bands consists of men as their lead vocal!!

@bearsab92 I hear you, and I hope you understand that I RESPECTFULLY disagree. although the voice may differ, and at some level may detract from what they were originally going for, I think that the effect they inspired in those who listen to them shows the true power they weild. If a little canadian girl is seeking a financially more stable life (and for all intensive purposes succeeding) then I think that is much more of a tribute to what Metallica is about. @bearsab92 true but i think with all the albums both slayer and metallica made metallica was great at the begining and in the 90s they went down hill and thanx to rick rubin whos been with slayer since regin in blood are getting back into thrash metal again and slayer to me is like a fine wine they get better with age lol

James' mother died because she had cancer that was unmedicated because they believed in Christian science so she passed. That's where those lyrics in The Unforgiven come from. It also could've been 'cause his parents split when he was 12 or 13. PS: Avril Lavigne sucks balls and can't sing for shit.

they were very religious in life, and James was very limited by this. The belief in a god within them was so big that they preffered to pray instead of take medicine when Papa Het's mom was on the brink of death. This and being limited in what he could do alienated him from his parents.
