Taking on the debt was encouraged by government.  The fed subsidized taking on debt. No "deregulation" happened. The fed HAS no regulations on it. But then the fed should not exist. They are banksters.

Neo-cons have encouraged a policy of militarization, indebting the US government/people. Wrong. The govt. should protect the people and their jobs (the people's will); that's that word sovereignty you may have been curious about. It not simply, "oh, Mexico has cheaper laborers, Ford should move its factories to Mexico". Of course, if you want global monopolies with a global working class and a few elites owning the monopolies then you SHOULD be happy. One more thing, how much education does a person need in order to get a job that will bring in enough money to raise a family?

The point about the textiles seems flawed to me. If they can be made cheaper in Spain than England, then they should be made there. And where is it written that Americans are supposed to make more money than people in other countries? All I see around me are fat lazy stupid asses who can't do simple math and don't know the difference between the Civil war and the Revolution. Give me a break, if you want to be middle class, get educated and work hard and be happy you have enough to eat.
