I don't really like Kate because that means Neal settles down and stops flirting and he is no longer the main con of the show. So I hope she did die, and he moves on to someone else, OR she is evil. =D But I don't like Neal/Alex either. If Kate comes back I will be sad, that happens entirely too much in shows.
The finale rocked and I agree that Kate is probably alive but what if, once Peter found out, Fowler then decided to blow it up like it was a back up plan like he was tying up loose ends. There is so much to figure out and so many ways they could take the show and they have done a great job with the writing. I have all the episodes on DVR so I can see him whenever I want :) and maybe make it until the summer.
@nvmbr10 That's exactly what I was thinking, but I don't really think Fowler would be shady enough to blow up that plane. Then again, he probably intended to kill Neil and Kate. It would be a complete miracle if Kate is still alive, I really don't know how they're gonna pull that one over our heads.

doubt the show will be so predictable that Neil will fall in love with Alex...or that everyone but Neil was right about Kate..i bet the writers will find a way to make it that Neil was mostly right about her..but she made some bad choices or something...
I completely agree she isn't dead. I think that neals going to basicly have a broken heart for a while. sad but not as bad as realizing she never loved him which he will find out later when she returns out of no where when he's hooked up with alex. lol
That season finale was one of the best I have seen! I cannot wait for the secons season! Is it true it comes back in july? Personally I don't think Kate is dead. I think that she got off the plane. I guess I'll have to watch re-runs to keep seeing Matt :)
@jmpr4evr i don't think she's dead ether there was plenty of time for her to get off the plane and she would be smarter then that! and i think she's in it with fouler she doesn't really love Neal she never did i bet
