@ShiiFTzHD You do need iTunes to install the pwned .ipsw firmware that redsn0w creates. Is your iDevice usable or powered on & responsive? If its not & iTunes won't recognize your device try using Tiny Umbrella *Fix Recovery*. I have a few videos for how to use TU & where to DL it.

thanks bro, you made ma day i was trying this green poison untethered jailbreak and i just had to restore my iphone whenever i did it because it failed to enter dfu mode (that's what greenp0ison said) but with red sn0w it all went really nice tanks!!!

@sup879 You can just edit the file type from .zip to .ipsw - if you can't do that you can use Firefox browser to download the file. Sometimes Safari changes the file extension.

@StEvO5511 Sorry, every time dev team updates redsn0w they delete old files. The newest redsn0w links are now in description. But this is only untethered for iOS 4.2.1 & iPhone 3G anything else should update to 4.3.3 & use new redsn0w.

[I should have done this to start, first link method was too confusing]
