I have to say one thing... BAD IDEA... most of the die hard Metroid fans would not like this game but then again I am just one of those metroid fans who prefers the original deal only with different things added into the whole thing. Metroid without Samus or Metroids is just not a Metroid game. all this game is using are the terrain, background, and enemies from Metroid the rest is not metroid.

I dunno, I've been working on my Metroid fangame for a little while now, and the ideas powering it alone are enough to crush almost any other Metroid so far, except for maybe Super Metroid and Metroid Prime 1, as far as ratings goes.

You know there are plans to make a real Metorid game for DS called Metroif Dread? So you would be the first one that maked a game with the name dread if you would add Samus

The 6 dislikes are employees from Nintendo, jealous that they can't make a badass Metroid game. The Half-life sounds and Fallout 3 death are fine, all you need to do about that is give credit, which you most likely know. This is one freakin' badass game.

This looks pretty interesting. And besides, all this argument over a Metroid fangame...all I see is "Dread." ;) Plus so what if Samus takes a backseat to a GalFed cleaning up SR388 after the X infestation. It's a neat concept.

Great video Dragon. And Jellytroid, its just an engine room, so it was made to test stuff out like AI, weapons, movement, etc. with little focus on little things sticking out here and there. Usually you see engine rooms that are just grey backgrounds with block obstacle walls and floors. :P He placed tiles and a background to make it look better.

When a demo is out, it should look better.
