We always invade weak countries that are easy to overpower and control afterwards. Only it doesn't work so well anymore as we have seen in Afganistan, Iraq, and several South American countries. Citizens are local and are a part of our community. Members are from the community, with our families and friends, and neighbors. These are people we care about, so we work hard to inform them about being prepared in times of trouble. And about taking from other, we are all well stocked and prepared for thes bad times, we work with those in our community we can. In time of trouble, we would be more worried about those who where not prepared and expected us to take care of them.

I know alot of people that seem to be looking forward to the time your speaking of. Large groups won't be able to sustain themselves, especially such groups that have lots of elderly and children. The family will disolve to a certain extent. Nonproducers will have to be weeded out or the group will suffer. It's gonna suck.

We are also keenly aware of the one area we can excell (marksmanship) and we have always stressed this to everyone in the feild it is the one thing we can "beat" any standing army in if we commit to it. If we all strive to be the best marksmen we can be. Almost all of us can infact better than the average grunt who only made qualification in basic and never tried for anything more, if we commit to it many of us have.

What we are is a volunteer org which takes in all persons who can legally own a firearm. We offer them training in Marksmanship, feild craft , small unit tactics, medical training, support logistics and radio. We train them as far as they are willing and able. Our goal is to prepare all as far as they are able ,we encourage people to work on their physically fitness as well as all the other feilds of study we provide. We are well aware of our limitations.

Militia's have been cast in a negative light since the OKC bombing, but a real militia is nothing to worry about. Their job is to protect the United States from enemies both foreign and domestic. It's nice to know that whether the US is invaded from foreign forces or under the influence of a government against the people, militias will be there for our protection.

I believe most militia groups are mainly interested in defending the Constitution and especially the Bill of Rights. If the federal government oversteps its bounds (as clearly defined in the Constitution), it is the duty of the citizens to overthrow such government in defense from tyranny and in the interest of personal rights and freedoms.
