To clear shit up the masked wrestler is Super Strong Machine. There was a Machine brief stint in WWF, Andre being Giant Machine and you can google the rest. Super Strong Machine was a rather iconic masked wrestler in Japan.
Super Strong Machine (as people have correctly identified him) was portrayed by Junji Hirata who started wrestling in New Japan in the late 70's. In the early 80s he adopted the Super Strong Machine gimmick in Stampede Wrestling. This indeed is probably around '85 or '86 as SSM left for All Japan briefly in 1986 and came back the next year. The Machines stable in the WWF (Andre, Eadie, and Blackjack Mulligan) was based on the SSM persona so I'm guessing this would be right around that.
@norseleague Don't even have to do that just get huge muscles and know how to pretend fight in front of the media...FAAAKKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is NOT Bill Eadie...this man is TOO stocky and has more of a belly than Eadie had (at that time)...Eadie never wore those type of boots and he always wore a knee-pad on one knee...furtehrmore, a match between Eadie and Andre would not lack action between the two of them as much as this one did...
this has to be around 85-86 and its probably bill eadie (masked superstar, demoliton ax) under the mask. if anyone remembers it was around this time that Studd and Ken Patera cut Andres hair
@fatalvision2 Dunno where you got your powers of logic and reason from, but you should ask for refund! If you think for even one second, that Andre was moving anywhere remotely that quickly in 85/86 then you're so far gone to the nutty farm that there's no even point in my continuing lol (i mean, DUDE WrestleMania 3 was 1987, and by then Andre had the mobilty of a grand piano on seavy sedatives.

The guy under the mask does not move at all like Bill Eadie. I think it is Junji Hirata under the mask.

We've seen a lot of wrestlers through the years and Andre dwarfs them all. I never realized how massive this guy was.

I'd hate to have to feed Andre. I'd go broke. Lol.
