@harrisonnixon Yeah that's why I said "Punk-ish on their first albums". 3rd wave ska and punk coincide a lot of the time...Like Operation Ivy is considered punk as well as ska. Real punk bands are Minor Threat, Bad Brans, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Slapshot, Negative FX, NOFX, the Gorilla Biscuits, I could go on all day.

@giog68 Most of the bands you just named are Hardcore. Operation Ivy is Ska Rancid was Tim's punk side project. NOFX is also a ska band like No Doubt. PS when you bring in Boston based bands your talking about the streets that I grew up Slapshot and the rest of the FSU family is what kept me out of trouble the same with the NYHCBHC Families is what I know from Charlestown to Hell's Kitchen. Not calling you out but this scene and the people in it have been the best FRIENDS I could ever ask for.
