This boss has a pattern of attacks depending what spot you shoot it at a specific time.

Reminds me a lot of the final form of Gohma from Zelda the Wind Waker. Go check it out and tell me it doesn't have pretty much the same weaknesses (eye, ceiling falling in) and overall body structure. Still, it's a pretty fun fight regardless.

This seems a bit like homage to the Alien Queen from Aliens. It's apparently called the Queen too. (I saw it on the Lost Planet 2 website) I love this boss and this game (and the 2nd one). Hopefully I'll get both on my birthday this month.

Im playing LP on Normal or something and at this difficulty the boss is extremely easy. I found it the easiest up to now. Dont know how it is on Hard but if you keep shooting his legs I think it wont be that insane...I may be wrong tho

For some freaking reason i got stuck at mission 4,PC version,it just keeps loading and loading and loading.But not hang either.WTF is going on.I can play the beginning part of mission 4 till the mechs part and after that i went to this small tunnel looking thing and it keeps loading.A little help needed!

this boss was easy for me, just get hold of a shot gun n go real close to him, shoot his arms off wid either the chain gun or the easier rocket launcher n then use shot gun for the eye, thats all i did n all i lost was half my life, simple really

Use the hover VS, and hover jump to the sides while shooting him.

Shoot the small arms and he dosnt do the breath attack.

Reasonably simple: shoot its 'legs' off, shoot it in the eye, and swap VSs if you're practically dead. But, man, use Slide Dash to avoid it slamming down on you...

i got the BIGGEST puddle of thremal energy ever it restored 4000 T-ENG i killed the giant worm in like mission 4 or 5 when ur not supposed to kill it. lol ur supposed to run away but i killed it thinking u must kill it t move on and it dropped a puddle worth 4000. then when it was dead YURI still sed "wayne, get the hell out of there u dont have a chance against it" lol it was kinda funny

in your first vs you get hit quite a few times by her swiping arm attack. That didn't look very pro :p, you can easily jump over the arm or get in the back of the arena where the arm doesn't reach.

My tips: Stay in close ... initially I stayed far back, but that leads to failure. Also, shoot the small "side legs" ... that damages him and also releases TE.
