nice engine I Would lvoe to see but of the two in that part of the country I feel it should have been the 4-6-4 h what a site thonly US perserved 7 foot driver engineI do not know ow big it i is would the railroad go alng they might be concerded about its age something it think about I am not trying to efend any onejust waht I think fans would love to see bewtter if you could have both the rail faning thing is dying this imight help some NRH chapt have few membes under 40 ths is not good
Judging by the hissing from ATSF #3415, ATSF #3415 is a steam locomotive. Steam locomotives aren't in use anymore, and since that time, diesel locomotives have taken over, continuing to haul what the steam locomotives used to haul, such as coal and other freight, and sometimes even passengers! I've been on the railway line on Maynard Street, just up from Wendy's, and the railroad running that line is the Lycoming Valley Railroad.
nice engine and whal Iwould love ot see it one time in my life I feel 4-6-4 shold been the one for restoration for after all its the only perserved whit 7 foot drivers but will the RR go along withit ?????? for who woulddd want tosee t just run bakc words and forward on a mile or 2 of track some railllhistorians I know and trolly fans why I do not know were you could really open her speed ometer over the 80 markI wish them luck with the pacifcoh, I did not know it was that big
2. Their track is in BAD condition; I've walked on their tracks before and there are many broken ties (I mean broken like in half) and their rails are somewhat warped.
@trainlover479 They have a switch that connects with BNSF. But the engine has friction bearings, not roller bearings, and I think they don't allow friction bearings on the main.

@atsf3415dbr are they linked to the grid? they could take that on the mainline if they want it to go faster

From an old retired ATSF Locomotive Engineer. A lot of memories from where that throttle jerker is setting. Great video :-)
