We used to have a 96 nissan maxima back in the day,they move ok...There is a trailblazer ss,wich my brother owns,same owner of the maxima in the video,i use to own the r32,turbo festiva and the 280z.
tiburons are ok cars but im sure he cant beat u....the trailblazer ss will though,it has a 6.0 ls2 engine with 395 h.p. some r 2 wd and some r awd.....

Ok, I will add some info we found out later on...the vf s-c was only pumping 3lbs of boost...i know i cant launch that well,new to awd...the maxima runs low 13's on a sliping clutch and bad traction with dr's....we are brothers and did this just for the fun of it....the r32 is a great car on twisties and top end..the maxima with a 3.5 is a very nice car too..I built a ford festiva that went 12.7 @ 108 . look for it on streetfire under 77zeta..we like tuning cars and having fun its all.

I have owned 4 Maximas since 1990. When I went to replace my daily driver 2001, I decided to keep the 2001 as my "track day" car" and I currently use my 2007 Maxima as my Daily driver. Aside from being bulletproof reliable, the performance is never disappointing. You can bet my next car will also be another Maxima.

there's no way that R32 has 300whp, if it did that maxima would get smoked all day. an extra 50 horsepower to the wheels is like 80 horsepower at the crank (probably even more since it's an AWD car). the driver just doesn't know what he's doing, he can't even launch.

I'm 28yrs old and have owned 14 cars. I trade about twice a year. Currently driving a 2000 Maxima with the 3.0 and I can't get over how a full sized luxury sedan can take off from the starting line (completely stock). Maximas are an amazing automobile. First Nissan I've owned, will not be my last.

V dubbers think they're the greatest cars made. Nissan has superior engineering and overall quality. Both cars weigh the same, but with 50 less wheel horse, the max can cruise better and have 4 people comfortably inside, and still run forever.
you will be the one pulling if you have the same mod, the simple way is to put in supercharger or turbo it... you will own them !! =) I know stock R is not that fast, but if you just love it a little more, it kicks ass... =)

Your right, i did launch the car with the esp on.i did turned off the week after and tried again...there was a diference but the results were the same he catches and keeps pulling...im not trying to put down any car, the R is mine.the maxima is my brothers.both cars the r32 will take the maxima on turns..each car has has its own....I got my Z for dragracing.chheck out my videos.....for those of you that dont think i can drive..

I'm 28yrs old and have owned 14 cars. I trade about twice a year. Currently driving a 2000 Maxima with the 3.0 and I can't get over how a full sized luxury sedan can take off from the starting line (completely stock). Maximas are an amazing automobile. First Nissan I've owned, will not be my last.

@theletrg longboarding is a great way to pass time when there is no snow. i bet my turbo legacy would give a maxima a pretty good run for its money. But the subie doesnt shine till you leave the highway and hit the back roads up the the top of a mountain.

My brothers maxima is a high 12 second car....i dont think a stage 2 from vf will run that, the supercharger belt is slipping most of the time..I did had the traction control on on this video,turn it off and went out again,same results.
its hard to see modded maximas, he is making 252 at the wheels,maybe a little more than that.maxima is a lighter car than the R..the R has a full interior pluns a nice sound system wich adds weight.we did this for fun and nothing else.i dont know how to driveawd

its more expensive then this maxima its base price is $29,000 something but with exhaust intake and chip and reflash it takes out 350z's g35's and wrx's turbo the r32 properly and it beats a few high dollar cars but tuners done against a turbod r32

b0SN14N50LD13R must be stupid. you dont know crap about nissans. haha completely mod a 5th gen maxima and a golf r32 the maxima will kill. nissan bases the maxima off of extreme torque so dont think you can win just cause you have more hp. other people with other maximas have higher hp than your golf.

likewise, just turbo and chip an r and its pushing t88 supras out of its way.
Also, to "totally mod out a maxima" you'll only push near 440.....a simple chip and tune that r32 will be pushing far far more power.....
also, R driver needs to turn off traction control.

i do partially agree with you xeronicus. the golf is actually a superb car if you do some good upgrades to it. the driver of the golf just sucks but i really think the maxima has more potential. i have friends with the r32 and a 5th gen maxima and the maxima just pushes more torque. both cars are great. nothing is proven till we see a better driver in the r and a supercharged engine in the maxima

your right the .:R32 with exhaust intake chip and a stage 2 or stage 3 (not sure) will boast about 450hp
that dumbass in the r cant drive it so he might as well sell it plus that car doesnt need a supercharger it needs a turbo
its got plenty of torque at low end rpms but has horrible top end torque

V dubbers think they're the greatest cars made. Nissan has superior engineering and overall quality. Both cars weigh the same, but with 50 less wheel horse, the max can cruise better and have 4 people comfortably inside, and still run forever.

Your right, i did launch the car with the esp on.i did turned off the week after and tried again...there was a diference but the results were the same he catches and keeps pulling...im not trying to put down any car, the R is mine.the maxima is my brothers.both cars the r32 will take the maxima on turns..each car has has its own....I got my Z for dragracing.chheck out my videos.....for those of you that dont think i can drive..

well i saw the z and that thing pulls :D i also heard that the stage 2 tune is not so great after all so maybe you should look into that first? and dont worry too much awd weights more but on the highway the R is only FWD

I got the car this way,there were like 50 R32's sold here in mexico..we like to compare lots of cars and see what they can do.i was thinking of removing the s/c and add twin turbos then the maxima would not have a chance.money is low right now so ill drive it how it is...it only has 32k kml..so its basically a new car.i dont like treating my thing that bad..i like to have fun that all..thank's for the tips.

the 2002 - 2003 maxima is not a high 12 second car... stock is high 14 second but the r32 is awd the driver in the r32 does not know how to drive

Maxima is not sotck, it has headers,ported intake,cai,full exhaust,tb spacer,really light wheels,technosquare tune, and other things im forgetting so this makes it a high 12 second car....thanks

Maxima is a high 12 second car,We used to lined up with my ford festiva that runs high 12's too and the maxima hanged...any r32 with a vf stage 2 is more than welcome to race the maxima, in northern california..the bay area to be exact...

Its true im not the best driver out there..Its my first allwheel drive car...if you own an awd car you kow how hard is to get the hang of it, however I did launch good on the runs....R32 wont beat the maxima at all,I will blame the vf sc kit..its not efficioent..
