FF6 Advance (no original showing of Omega in FF6, though there was Atma/Ultima Weapon)

I don't know where to place FF11's appearance, since I've never played it and it's an MMO and it's probably patch-dependent

from what i remember the original omega weapon was made in final fantasy 12 by some guy that got paid to make a being that relentlessly sought out more powerfull beings (i.e the player) and test there strength....Now the science behind this is that the org. omega weapon laid eggs that grew into omega weapons....they would then slip into the Void (a space connecting all the Final Fantasy worlds together, the same that gilgamesh uses) and seek out powerfull beings...this is why there in all theFFs

Omega Weapon from Final Fantasy VIII is by far the best version, the one from XII wasn't that shabby either, definitely harder to beat. First time I battled Omega in FF8 I got my ass handed to me quite quickly. Then I went in prepared and I got my ass handed to me once again. This went on and on untill I found a suitable way of defeating the bastard using my own methods.

What I can't forget though, is that bastard standing there in the hall next to the draw point and the excitement when you pull on the rope to ring the bell. Good old FF games. Simple and yet gave you so much fun it's unbearable to see FF tarnished nowadays.

Considering I never played FF12, I think FF5's Omega was the real bitch. Even at level 99 with all jobs mastered and best equipment, he would still hand you your ass in seconds. Although, an easy win would be using the "Kiss of Blessing" mix...if you can survive long enough to cast it.

In FF8, at least you had the "Defend" command and HolyWar item to protect against TerraBreak and LightPillar.

I wud say FF8 has the strongest Omega weapon but I have never fought the one in 12. It seems difficult to me. But in 8 i think Omega had like KILLER attacks (terra break and...light pillar i think, and so more i think.) Still, it doesnt make him the strongest, but you do get a certificate for beating it.

FF8 - To beat Omega you just need meltdown magic, auras, the Laguna card and pulse ammo. Gettin' all these itens, you can just have to do this > meltdown on Omega >> Aura> Hero on Squal. And if you have luck, Squal's rezokuken LION HEART (note dat you need pulse ammo) will do a hell job. Without Heros (or maybe Phoenix Pinion) there's no way you win this battle, 'coz Omega has attacks that will KO all your party members. Heros and Phoenix Pinion must to be used and both are rare itens. :)

that's a lie, it maybe the "strongest" as it can kill you with any atack, but in FFVIII you can become invincible in SO many ways that it doesn't matter, as he won't be able to touch you and you'll kill him in no time, it's the most boring of all of the omegas
