I went to UCSB in the mid 90's. It was like a dream. I couldn't believe that I went to school in a place as great as that, and that feeling never left me to the day I graduated.

i'm 14 I live in canada my dream is to go to this school although they just took off their law program and I don't know if they anything for anyone being a pediatrician.I like how this uni has a beach and other great things but I wonder what are some other universities giving a try if this doesn't plan out well? I was thinking u.s.c

Hey, I'm from the UK and in my 1st year of A-levels, so still got some time before I made my choices. But is UCSB a good place to go for a British student? For the full time, not just an exchange year?

@Joshnotchuck ...You'll find UCSB a comfortable & challenging, plus being a Brit can only enhance your stay for many reasons. Too, UC Berkeley is another excellent choice for a top rate education. Good luck, please in your choice...Wayne

If I were going for a year, please try SB or San Francisco...the culture is more interesting in both places. You learn more...stay out of LA, too guady, too glitzy and culture is common...my opinion....W.
