@theperfectwinter That is NOT being a hypocrite. If she ATTENDED rodeos HERSELF and then turned around and pushed to end them, THAT would be hypocritical. If the people who are so passionate about preserving rodeos (apparently you are one of those) feel that attending her concerts would in some way contribute to ending rodeos, then they should not attend her concerts or purchase her music. Carrie Underwood does NOT force ANYONE to pay one dime to attend her concerts or buy her music.

I'm disappointed in Carrie. Her position on animal rights is weak. In CW she just said she isn't really for or against anything and "respects the industry" of food animals. Any time animal products are mass-producd there is inherent cruelty. PETA has supported & promoted her for yrs. That was like a slap in the face to say she doesn't share any of our beliefs. I respect ppl who eat meat, but respect the industry? As an adult, has she not looked into the issues. Could do so much more. Afraid to

@tribranchvo - vegetarians are not healthier. Obviously we have to have the proper dose of vegetables and not excessin the meat department. Any one wish to compare the bodies (both cardiovascular and muscular) to those 100% veggies and it is simply no contest. Excercise and running is the key to health. I know vegetarians and they are simply not as healthy. I am 15 years older than the ones I know and they cannot keep up with me and likely will not even in the later years.

There are lots of children in the USA that need help. I feel they are the forgotten ones. We should take care of our own first. Of course it's not as much as Carrie but every donation counts. I've fostered for the Humane Society for about the past four years. I help animals daily, it amazing me that most people still don't understand the basic way to help animals: get yours fixed. Many people want to have cute puppies or get money by mating their animals. What everyone has to realize is that, like Carrie Underwood said, their are so many unwanted animals. It's pure laziness or ignorance that you mate your animals instead of taking the time to save an animals life by adoption.
