@KPKonliner He quit in 2006, so that's 3 full years he wasn't racing. I guess they were just worried that he might be a bit rusty after so long out of it. Also, he was 41 when he came back, so they were maybe worried he was too old, or wouldn't be fit enough.

I all. I have a lot of respect for Michael Schumacher, and his return put the F1 outside this boring island since he retire. The Formula 1 lose great champions. Clark, for example was one of them. The best of his generation. Senna [I am a fan of him] was the second. It was a huge shame does not see him racing more against Michael. The thirth, alive! was him in his early retire. For me is he win this championship cuold be the greatest of all the times. No doubt about that. Good Luck Michael!
